Iforest Hotel (Xi'an Datang Sleepless City store) Reviews

The staff doesn't speak English but they are very kind and helpful when using a translation app. There are plenty of restaurants (incl. halal options) opened late and supermarkets in the area. The "sleepless city" district is very close by and Danshita metro station (TV tower) is about 10 min. walk. It's on line 2, which goes directly to the city center and North railway station. The rooms are very clean and the 24h reception is on the same floor as the room, so it feels very safe.

Too much of trash when i come here at 2pm. Luckily it was cleaned up when I come back at night. Room with no window so very hard to breath, old amenities, smell toilet.

My room was very nice, clean, not smell of cigarette. The rest of the hostel is under renovation. I cant complain according to the price i paid was perfect

Beds are confortable and private. Lots of Chinese young people staying there. Common are is nice to chill. Kitchen is a bit of a mess but OK. Bathrooms were often dirty though, specially showers. There's self laundry facility at the hostel. To get to the city wall is about 30 minutes walking, and to the terracota army 1,5-2h by public transportation (they are outside the city).

Nice room a short walk from the new “Nightless City” area of Xi’an near Wild Goose Pagoda! People were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Lots of games to play and good for meeting new friends in the hostel area.

The room is very clean and I really like the service. the staff are very friendly everyone is like one big family there and welcome us warmly. Inside the room has many convenient especially the bathroom is very cool and the bed is very comfy.

The hotel is by the road, right opposite many good eating places & within walking distance to the Tang Dynasty night city 大唐不夜城 & television tower 电视塔 subway. The cleaners and staff are also friendly, however, there are too many smokers staying at this place and I didn't sleep well, as the smoke from outside came into my room. The first room I had was also very small and barely enough room for my luggage & the motion emergency light kept lighting up whenever I turned around in my bed, also with the concealed water pipe making much noise at night, it was not good rest for me the first 3 nights. However, the staff did help to change my room upon request & availability (thankfully, if not, the ratings would have been even lower, and rightfully so!). The washing machine and dryer are also not that efficient, I spent 20yuan drying my clothes using the dryer and still had to hang them up for 1-2 days for all the clothes/jeans to dry... and the free Hanfu experience didn't work because they only had clothes/costumes for ladies... Finally, the place may be good for others, but not really for business travelers as the table was really small and the single chair (in the first room) was too hard... thanks! But the staff and cleaners tried their best, so credit to them!

We spend just one night here. The hostel is really nice and clean. In our room the heating was too high and the room too hot. We ask at the reception and the guy kindly moved us to another room. Really nice staff

Good place to stay, 4 person rooms are clean and well equipped, staff is nice and helpful :) location was convenient for me so I basically was using the bike to move around 👌

The reservation details clearly stated that there was a public bathroom, but when I arrived I was told that it was unavailable. The most infuriating thing was that the front desk said that I could cancel it at this time. What a shame. I'm already here and you want me to find a new place to stay? In fact, the environment is OK, but the basic facilities are not met, which is really important!
