The room had some black marks on the wall but only in one or two places. The desk team were helpful and were happy to give water and coffee when we asked for it. Breakfast had good choices such as toast and croissants, hot dishes of vegetables, and plenty of drinks such as tea, coffee, juices, and soy milk. It’s located about 10 minutes away from two metro stations and two gates to the old city.

Helpful staff, clean rooms, close to line1 and line6 metro and city wall.
Breakfast buffet needs to have more options (for example fresh fruit, omelette station etc..). The menu is too boring.

Excellent hotel, warm welcoming staff.
It is near to subway line 1, 5 minutes walk. Centerlized heating is a big plus during winters.
Strongly recommended.

The location is opposite the west side of the City Wall and a five minute walk to the West Gate. The metro station interchange of lines 1 & 2 is also nearby.
The breakfast was a nice surprise, as was the very helpful staff who tried to speak English with me.
My room was comfortable and the overall ambience was lovely.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They can speak in english language. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn hotel in Xi'an for anyone visiting Xi'an. Would definitely send a friends there.

The Holiday Inn Express hotel in Xi’an was very disappointing. When we made the booking with Trip.com the information given said there were two restaurants, a cafe and lobby bar. This was untrue. I queried this immediately upon our arrival which was after 18.00 due to a delayed flight. I had called the hotel to let them know this. I told Trip.com that their information about the hotel was misleading and that we wished to cancel after our first night and obtain a refund. I said we were not happy. I was informed that we were not allowed to cancel or get a refund due to the hotel policy, even though the information on Trip.com said that cancellation was possible after 18.00. So we booked another hotel and moved out the next day. We paid in full for the four nights, and are extremely unhappy

It would be nice if the AC worked properly. Xi'an is very hot in the summer.

More than satisfied with my 6 nights staying in this hotel during the National Day holidays!
Convenient location: 5 minutes walk from subway station, 5 minutes walk from COVID testing point, 10 RMB taxi drive to the old city center.
Room: has all amenities like kettle, iron and ironing board, safe and everything you might need.
Cleanliness: room, bathroom and toilet are perfectly clean. Special thanks to housekeeping team!
Laundry: laundry room on the first floor with 20 RMB price for each washing and drying cycle.
Breakfast: both western and local food is served. Excellent taste!
Front desk: very nice and helpful team ready to assist with anything 24 hours, fast check in and check out, complimentary coffee and beverages.
Highly recommend this hotel when traveling to Xian and will definitely choose it for my next trip to this city!

Excellent service from check in to check out. English speaking staff made things much easier when we had questions about our stay.
The room was a comfortable size. The addition of a soft and a firm pillow was great and allowed us to sleep well. The room was a little hot and we couldn't get any cool air from the air conditioning unit- a fan in the room would have been handy and would have made the stay even more comfortable. The bathroom was clean, spacious and the toiletries smelled amazing!
The breakfast was definitely more Chinese than western, but it was fresh, varied and delicious.
The location of the hotel is great. The subway is only 5 minutes walk away which is a bonus for getting around Xi'an. It was also nice to be able to see the city walls from our window.
We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again if we find ourselves in Xi'an in the future.
