xi 'an Jinyuan Furun Hotel Reviews

Older hotel located in a very good location in Xi’an. It is close to the Metro and to the main tourist spots. The service is average. The rooms are clean but the hotel is quite dated and smell of cigarette is very much present. For the price paid it was a more than decent accomodation.

This hotel is located at the northern end of Xi'an's main thoroughfare, North Street, close to the 5A-rated Xi'an City Wall scenic area. It's well-connected with many bus stops nearby, though it's about a ten-minute walk to the Anyuanmen and Beidajie subway stations. The front desk staff were very friendly and check-in was quick. A special shout-out to the security guard at the entrance – I left my keys in the car, and he not only held onto them but also left a thoughtful note for me. The hotel lobby, elevator waiting areas, and rooms all feature an antique architectural style, perfect for taking photos in Hanfu. Overall, the stay was very comfortable, and the price was reasonable. My only regret is that the bathrooms have bathtubs, so if you want to shower, you have to stand in the tub, which isn't very convenient.

It's decent. The location is good, close to the North Gate of the city wall. It's warm and well-insulated, but there aren't many power outlets, especially no bedside outlets. Also, the bathroom doesn't have a showerhead. Just a small suggestion, it would be much better if they could add some outlets and a showerhead!

The service was excellent—friendly and attentive staff. The facilities were modern and very clean. I really enjoyed the food; it was delicious and well-presented. A great experience overall!

We were upgraded to a better room for free. The location is perfect 👍🏻 super near to the city wall.

Hotel was good, lots of food selections close by. City wall is close. 15 min walk to Bell Tower/muslim food street.

The room carpet and chairs were quite old and dusty. But the room was rather spacious

The hotel has really good location with walkable distance to many places. However, the first night when we got the room, it's full of cigarette smell. Also, dont pay extra for the breakfast, not worth it since there are no choices at all.

The location is great, near the subway station in the center of the city. The room was good and clean enough in my opinion. The problem is that the hotel is not new, so there is not very convenient bath, you need to wait for a long time for hot water and also there is only one usable socket in the room. Also, no European sockets. Breakfast is fine, but could be better, not so much of a choice, but you definitely won’t stay hungry.

I enjoyed only one night in this hotel, but it was almost perfect. There was no problem at all.

Location of this hotel is good. The reception hall looks ok... I dislike to write an negative review. The hotel needs an makeover. The first room bathroom was leaking at the sink. The handyman was very helpful! The room was in such a bad shape we requested to relocate to another room. The front desk lady was unfortunately not helpful on the phone and mentioned the hotel was fully booked. We went downstairs and complained as its unacceptable the state of the given room. Unfortunately the second room wasnt much better. The hotel needs an makeover as its outdated, black mold, stinky carpet, broken tv you name it.... Trip.com was helpful by arranging the refund of remaining days and we relocated to another hotel.
