The only positive note about this place is the location, very close to the south gate of Xi'An wall and metro stations, everything else is terrible. Our room was in the top floor and when we entered we noticed that it was super dirty, full of humidity stains, the bathroom was not clean at all and, above all, there were many insects, including a huge cockroach. We asked for a room change, which was provided by the staff (that did not seem to be bothered at all by this information) and also the second room was in the same condition (cockroach included). We spent 1 out of two nights and the second night we changed hotel at 11 pm because it was too much for us. Staff is also not keen on helping you and we strongly suggest to AVOID this place at all cost! (we asked for a refund for both nights on trip and the hotel only agreed to refund one night).

Let’s start with positive, amazing location, love getting two bottle of water a day. Love the free live music at night from the bar next door. Negative, rundown, cleaning can be done better, bed is really hard but luckily I am good with hard bed. Not a fan of towel not being changed, I had request for cleaning with the sign placed at the door and got completed ignored. Otherwise pleasant stay.

Surprisingly it's pretty good for cheap hotel. So convenient and clean, the room also has bathroom. Just the owner open the hotel pretty late, I was waiting from 5am to 8am Infront of the hotel.

If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in close proximity to Xi'An, this is the place. But for the first impression, definitely wasn't pleasant with strong smoking smell everywhere, its located beside a bar, and there are quite a lot of noises. The place is also not as clean as what we'd like it to be. Toilet bowl is not fixed properly, it's the same loose across 2 different rooms (yes we changed room due to the awful smoking-smell room) Also there parts that are torn down / worn down. Yijia inn is an older inn. It is very conveniently located.right next to the wall. Yongningmen Subway and entry gate to the wall are a few minutes away. Yijia inn doesn’t provide breakfast but there are eateries around the corner. Staff are very helpful but unfortunately don’t really speak English .We managed with the aid of Google translate. Subway line 2 takes you to Xi’An bei railway station. I would certainly stay again.

toilet is the worst. other thing is acceptable. location just beside the huge wall. there is music playing at night. good vibe. a little far from any convinient shop if want buy anything at night. walking distance to nearest metro station.

Except for the very nice location which is close to the YongningMen wall (and their very cute dog), I am really disappointed that I booked this accommodation in Xi'an. Initially I was happy because the location is really nice (I was walking from the metro to the hotel, and around the hotel there are a lot of things to see). I arrived at night, hungry and tired, so after eating, I just went to sleep immediately. I did not really sleep well because the old aircon is making a lot of noise (I don't mind the noise coming from the bar nearby because music is fine with me). The next day, I am coughing so much (asthma attack), and going around the room, with the bright daylight from the windows, I saw that the room is super dusty. I sent a message to the front desk, and they said they will tell the janitors to clean it. I arrived late in the night again from going around, so I did not check anymore if they cleaned the floor (definitely they did not make the bed because it is how it was when I left), and saw the next day it was still very dusty. So, the bottom line: the cleanliness is terrible (as they are not cleaning the room); the service is terrible (because they don't attend to the needs of their guests and the front desk people are not very friendly to their guests); and facilities is terrible (because they are old). I AM NOT RECOMMENDING ANYONE TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL. (The photos just look good, but the floor is super dusty.)

Nice hotel in a great location, right next to the city wall. Bars, restaurants and shopping all very close. Room was comfy and clean. Dog is also very cute!

the location is amazing, it's right at the wall of Xi'an, south gate. However, it's so close, that you hear the wall announcemrnts non-stop whole day and when it stops, there is music from the bar. It's very close to metro as well and direct line from train station. Cleanniness left to desire more - whem we arrived there was blood on the bed, under sheets. It was very late first night but next day I told manager and they fixed it.

Quite good. Reasonable price. Close to the bar. Stop singing at midnight. Easy listening song.

The location is great! The hotel is very close to the city wall, subway, shopping malls. Bell and Drum towers and Muslim street are within walking distance. There are many dining options nearby including famous biangbiang noodles. The building is old enough and thus seems not so clean even after regular cleaning service but one can feel the atmosphere and authenticity of the old town which more than makes up for these minor flaws. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A nice bonus is a cute dog meeting at the hotel reception and live music at night.
