Xiamen Portman Seven Stars Bay Hotel & Resort·Sunlight Seas Hotel

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Xiamen. It's located right on Rainbow Beach, and the rooms are very spacious. You step right out onto the beach, and there's an infinity pool on B1. The hotel itself feels like a garden castle, perfect for photos. Our customer service butler, Anqi, was also incredibly warm and attentive. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Xiamen!

Summer is the perfect time for a family-friendly hotel. You can slow down the pace, eat well, have fun, and the kids have a place to burn off energy while the adults get a moment to breathe. It would have been even more perfect if it wasn't summer break, as fewer people would make it less crowded. After all, holiday crowds always add a bit more hustle and bustle, and a bit less tranquility.

Extremely luxurious! We stayed on the 9th floor in a sea-view room, enjoying drinks while admiring the ocean – simply fantastic! The kids loved the infinity pool and the children's water park too! Service: The staff were all excellent. Amenities: Luxurious. Ambiance: Beautiful.

Overall, we were very happy with the room, and our child loved it too. The infinity pool was a particular hit – our kid had a blast! A special shout-out to the lifeguard (pictured below), who was incredibly responsible and had a fantastic attitude. He definitely deserves five stars!

The room was great, but the hat I asked the concierge to mail out arrived completely flattened. I'm not sure if it was a courier issue or something else. However, the hotel itself is beautiful, very spacious, and lovely to explore. The location is a bit far out, so it's more suitable for family trips.

Staying here in Xiamen felt like the perfect choice. The Rainbow Beach, in my opinion, is the most beautiful in Xiamen, ideal for a lazy, relaxing trip. There's no need to go to the beaches along Huandao Road. The hotel itself has an elegant and distinctive European style, grand and sophisticated. The service quality is top-notch, and it offers great value for money.

This is our sixth time staying at this hotel, and it's still all about the kids. The service in every aspect is quite good, and it's very close to the beach, making it a comfortable place. The only downside is that the pool equipment rental system was glitchy.

The facilities and environment are excellent, but the service needs improvement. The hotel is large and the coastline is beautiful, perfect for a relaxing vacation. However, the staff's service attitude is mediocre, and breakfast is just average.
