Andaz Xiamen

The Andaz is perfectly located right next to MixC, with a direct passage connecting the hotel to the mall – incredibly convenient! It boasts a blend of retro Nanyang charm and French elegance, with a lush green courtyard and unique corridors that create a warm and serene play of light and shadow, giving it a true resort feel. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, and luggage is delivered directly to your room, which is a thoughtful touch. The room's main theme features warm reds, complemented by woven bamboo decor and herringbone floors, all exuding a distinctive Southern Fujian (Min-Nan) style. The first round of the Minibar was complimentary, and we received welcome fruits. During our stay, we also enjoyed Happy Hour, which offered salads, pastries, fruits, and local specialty snacks – truly commendable! We received a room upgrade, and over our three-day stay, the hotel's overall service was warm, attentive, meticulous, and professional. We did encounter a minor issue during our stay, but our butler, Bettie, handled it promptly and sincerely, even preparing apology gifts and local specialties, which I politely declined as I valued the attitude more than the gifts. The SPA on the second floor is excellent; Valmont truly revitalized my skin.

Service: Flawless. The front desk staff was clear-headed, spoke softly, and was very charming and approachable. They were always ready to assist with any request. Ambiance: The hotel boasts an incredibly elegant and stylish atmosphere that still feels vibrant. The overall vibe is exceptionally well-executed. My only minor gripe is that the pool is outdoors only, making it unusable in winter. However, the gym does have a hot spring bath! 😁 The room itself was very tasteful and well-appointed, with excellent attention to detail. I genuinely recommend everyone to come and stay here.

Our stay at the Andaz Xiamen was absolutely delightful! Traveling with our 3-year-old, we were thoughtfully upgraded to a Nanyang Premier Twin Room. The room was spacious and elegantly designed, making it perfect and very comfortable for a family stay. The hotel service was truly impressive. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was warm, attentive, and proactively offered us children's amenities and travel tips. Our child felt incredibly well looked after. Breakfast was another wonderful surprise! The variety was extensive, and the flavors were authentic. Our child especially loved the freshly made noodles and fresh fruit – we all looked forward to breakfast every morning. Thank you, Andaz Xiamen, for creating such a warm and comfortable vacation for us, especially for your meticulous care towards families with children. A special thank you to Anna for her thoughtful arrangements, which made our family trip full of beautiful memories. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and will choose to stay here again on our next visit to Xiamen!

Facilities: Very satisfied, everything was excellent. Hygiene: No issues. Environment: The room environment was comfortable, and its location in the business district made it very convenient to get around. Service: A big thank you to Anna for her all-around service. This time, I spent more time in the hotel than out sightseeing, and the service was impeccable throughout. This is my second stay at Andaz Xiamen, and I'll definitely choose it again when I come back to Xiamen.

Honestly, there's nothing more to say. It's my top choice every time I visit Xiamen. The public areas exude a rich Nanyang charm, complemented by various art pieces, giving it a high-end and sophisticated feel. The rooms are spacious, and the amenities are top-notch. And the service? Absolutely impeccable. Anna, a lovely staff member, even called a day in advance to confirm my check-in time and ask about any special requests, arranging everything perfectly. The location is super convenient too, with a direct corridor connecting to MixC Mall, making shopping and dining a breeze. Plus, there's direct underground access to the metro station, so getting anywhere is easy. The pool is also beautiful, though I didn't get to use it this time due to the cold weather. I'll definitely be back next time! The breakfast offers both a buffet and à la carte options, including Fujian specialties.

Our first stop in Xiamen was this hotel, about a 20-minute drive from the airport. It's connected to MixC Mall, which makes shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel has a strong Southeast Asian vibe, and the corridors are particularly unique. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and the complimentary evening snacks were also delicious. Edison provided very attentive service. Next time, I'll definitely have to try the hotel's heated pool.
