💡 The package included a basic room upgrade with double breakfast, lounge access, bar cocktails, a single spa experience, Kung Fu tea, gym personal training session, minibar, and welcome fruit, all for 1399 RMB. At first glance, it seemed to have everything, practically an all-inclusive deal. Before coming, I saw a lot of negative reviews on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), warning against it. Honestly, some of the benefits were more for show than substance, but they definitely didn't overshadow the good points. 🌟 Public Areas: Aesthetically pleasing, with a retro Nanyang (Southeast Asian) style and excellent use of lighting. Every corner was photo-worthy. The location is also fantastic, with direct access to MixC Mall, and plenty of highly-rated satay noodle shops, seafood restaurants, and fruit stores nearby. 🌟 Guest Room: As someone without Hyatt high-tier status, my basic room was upgraded to a higher floor facing MixC Mall. It was probably over 50 square meters. The room itself was also aesthetically pleasing, but it looked much better in person than in photos. The large Byredo toiletries were very pleasant to use, and the minibar was free, offering not just drinks but also Mimi shrimp crackers and peanuts. Minor issues were that the room was a bit warm in winter, and there was no Bluetooth speaker. 🌟 Service: On the morning of check-in, I received a call to confirm my room preferences, amenity requests, and activity bookings. I'd especially like to commend Flora at the front desk for her professionalism, attitude, enthusiasm, and quick problem-solving skills. On the evening of check-in, I received another call to inquire about my experience and any other room needs. The concierges were also very attentive and provided excellent service. 🌟 Dining: My expectations for breakfast were low due to all the negative reviews on Xiaohongshu, but there were many pleasant surprises. The satay noodles were exceptional, the egg rolls with extra cheese were incredibly delicious, and the freshly squeezed juices were of excellent quality. Although the happy hour didn't have the hot food variety of a Marriott buffet, the desserts and cold dishes were delicious, especially the banana cream tart, pineapple shortbread, and shrimp crackers with guacamole! The complimentary pot of Oolong tea at the lobby bar and the non-alcoholic cocktail at the bar were also quite good. 🌟 Other: I couldn't make it to the single spa experience because of scheduling. It was a 30-minute facial or shoulder/neck massage, likely just a taste, but what more could you ask for? I also didn't get to try the 30-minute personal training session. I asked the front desk, and they said it was essentially a dedicated staff member showing you how to use various gym equipment. 💡 In summary, I didn't encounter any 'landmines'. While some of the package benefits were more for show, it's definitely a worthwhile hotel to experience in Xiamen.

I had a good impression of the Andaz in Nanjing from a previous stay, so when I came to Xiamen this time, I decisively chose to stay at their hotel again. Online reviews had previously suggested that the Andaz Xiamen was even more professional than the one in Nanjing. The hotel is conveniently located right in Xiamen Vientiane City, which is in the city center. The location is excellent overall. The pool is a heated outdoor pool. We visited in early February, and swimming at night was still quite cold. I do have to complain about the hotel's pool service. Perhaps because it was the off-season, there was only one staff member on-site. They were probably busy managing the pool area itself, as there was no one in the changing room at all. I couldn't even get a locker key. I later found out the keys were all outside by the pool. Furthermore, the clean towels in the changing room weren't replaced promptly. Also, while there's a spin dryer, they haven't considered that guests might need plastic bags to carry their damp clothes after spinning them dry. The Andaz in Nanjing was more thoughtful in this regard. I think a hotel that's been open longer shouldn't have these issues; perhaps it's due to the off-season. When we returned to the room, since we had two children, there were only three sets of towels. So I asked for an additional set to be sent up. The set that arrived actually had some small bits of lint on it. However, this was a good opportunity to see how Andaz handles service and unforeseen situations. Overall, I was quite satisfied with how they handled it. I want to give a shout-out to their butler, Anna, who managed it very well. Just a minor complaint, perhaps the hotel has been open for a while, but things like towels could probably be replaced. Compared to Nanjing, these were a bit harder and not as soft. Also, there was only one box of tissues in the entire room. Generally, there should be one in both the room and the bathroom, but when I asked the front desk, they said there's only one location in the room. This can be a bit inconvenient. Additionally, there were no hotel shopping bags available for use in the room. When I inquired, the hotel said a staff member might have forgotten to place them. The breakfast is quite considerate; children under 12 years old eat for free. The food was decent, a semi-buffet style, and the menu listed some local Fujian snacks. I counted about five items, which isn't a huge variety.

This hotel is a hidden gem! Every photo I took turned out amazing. The service was even better than expected; Miss Claire was incredibly attentive, kind, and thoughtful! I've officially added Andaz to my go-to hotels whenever I visit Xiamen!

The Andaz is perfectly located right next to MixC, with a direct passage connecting the hotel to the mall – incredibly convenient! It boasts a blend of retro Nanyang charm and French elegance, with a lush green courtyard and unique corridors that create a warm and serene play of light and shadow, giving it a true resort feel. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, and luggage is delivered directly to your room, which is a thoughtful touch. The room's main theme features warm reds, complemented by woven bamboo decor and herringbone floors, all exuding a distinctive Southern Fujian (Min-Nan) style. The first round of the Minibar was complimentary, and we received welcome fruits. During our stay, we also enjoyed Happy Hour, which offered salads, pastries, fruits, and local specialty snacks – truly commendable! We received a room upgrade, and over our three-day stay, the hotel's overall service was warm, attentive, meticulous, and professional. We did encounter a minor issue during our stay, but our butler, Bettie, handled it promptly and sincerely, even preparing apology gifts and local specialties, which I politely declined as I valued the attitude more than the gifts. The SPA on the second floor is excellent; Valmont truly revitalized my skin.

I chose this hotel for its distinct Southeast Asian charm. The facilities are comprehensive and convenient, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It's directly connected to MixC Mall downstairs, which is super handy for shopping. A butler reached out before my check-in, and I have to give a special shout-out to Joanna. She was always prompt in addressing my needs and offered excellent suggestions for getting around Xiamen.

Service: The staff at Kappo were fantastic! They upgraded our room and even arranged for a late check-out. The hotel's Nanyang-style decor really suited my taste. The room was quite spacious, and the mini-bar and welcome fruit were a nice touch. They even had a Dyson hairdryer and Byredo toiletries! Breakfast was great too. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything.

The hotel's location is excellent, right above MixC shopping mall, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel's Long Bar offers afternoon tea and evening happy hour, creating a great atmosphere. Our butler, Aria, was very attentive and thoughtful. Across from the hotel, there's a restaurant called 'Si Li Sha Cha Mian' where my child enjoyed a very fresh and sweet clear soup, and I had the satay noodles, which were rich but not greasy. There's also another place called 'A Zhong' that we didn't get a chance to try. Overall, staying at the hotel was very comfortable.

Fantastic! The environment and service were top-notch, I loved it! My kids had a great time too. The breakfast was excellent value for money for a family of four, especially with kids under 12 eating for free.

A perfect stay! Edison was super nice, he contacted me in advance to help arrange the room, and quickly resolved a minor issue that came up. The other staff, especially the Concierge, also provided top-notch service. The breakfast was definitely beyond 5-star, a combination of à la carte and buffet, and most importantly, it was absolutely delicious! Plus, the room layout was incredibly comfortable. Andaz is definitely the best hotel I've ever stayed at.

Choosing Andaz was absolutely the right decision for a trip with young children. The location is excellent, right behind MixC, making it super convenient to get around. Before we even arrived, a hotel staff member reached out to ensure all our needs were met and arranged the items we requested. Both the public areas and our room were spacious and bright, exactly the Nanyang style we love. I did some research and read reviews before our stay, and our experience truly confirmed it: the hotel service is outstanding. From the moment we stepped out of the car and were greeted by the doorman, to the check-in process, and the restaurant service during our stay, everything felt just right. The hotel breakfast is semi-buffet style, and the freshly made omelets, waffles, and Shacha noodles were all delicious. We visit Xiamen frequently, and Andaz will definitely be our first choice every time.

As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I received a complimentary night, and since I love Xiamen, I chose the Andaz Xiamen. The hotel has a Nanyang (Southeast Asian) style, and the decor is very fancy. It features a separate walk-in closet, and all the toiletries are Byredo. They even gifted me some Da Hong Pao tea upon check-out. It was a delightful experience!

The hotel was very welcoming, and the front desk concierge, JOJO, provided attentive service that made us feel right at home! 👍👍👍 The happy hour food selection was a bit limited; I hope they can offer more variety, especially since the hotel doesn't currently have an executive lounge!

Service: Flawless. The front desk staff was clear-headed, spoke softly, and was very charming and approachable. They were always ready to assist with any request. Ambiance: The hotel boasts an incredibly elegant and stylish atmosphere that still feels vibrant. The overall vibe is exceptionally well-executed. My only minor gripe is that the pool is outdoors only, making it unusable in winter. However, the gym does have a hot spring bath! 😁 The room itself was very tasteful and well-appointed, with excellent attention to detail. I genuinely recommend everyone to come and stay here.

A fantastic stay! The hotel's strategic location made exploring easy with less than 10mins walk to the nerby metro station. We had a spacious room that was very comfortable. Most impressive was the great service—the staff genuinely cared and attended to all our reasonable requests promptly and with a smile. Highly recommend! Thanks for the free gift ( signature tea leaves) upon checking out! I would definitely choose this hotel for my next visit.
