The location is incredibly convenient, right across from Xiamen Ferry Terminal. After visiting Gulangyu Island, we just pulled our suitcases across the street and we were there. It's also right next to Ba Shi Market and Zhongshan Road, so it was super easy to go out for a stroll and dinner in the evening! We bought tons of snacks back to the hotel and enjoyed them while watching a movie on the projector – very relaxing. The hotel facilities are very new, and we had a comfortable stay. The service was excellent too; I overslept, and the front desk even helped me extend my check-out by an hour. Huge thumbs up!

The hotel has a great atmosphere, very chic and upscale, with many of its own branded diffusers and fragrances that all smell wonderful. They upgraded my room, which was spacious. It was well-equipped with amenities and supplies, including a large bathtub, a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and very comfortable beds and sofas. There was also a projector, and the hot water came out quickly and with good pressure. They provided disposable bathtub liners, as well as slippers and toothbrushes for children. The front desk service was excellent; they patiently answered all my questions about using the facilities and getting around. The hotel provided a complimentary afternoon tea, which included cheesecake and tea. The cheesecake was quite delicious 😋 The hotel's location is fantastic. It's 900 meters to Bashi (Eighth Market), and the streets along the way are lively. It felt very safe both day and night. Zhongshan Road is not far, and it's only 400 meters from the Xiamen Ferry Terminal, making it super convenient after returning from Gulangyu Island. The only drawback: the room faced the street, so it was a bit noisy. The only regret: I was short on time and couldn't schedule a convenient slot for the complimentary photoshoot offered by the hotel. The photoshoot takes place within the hotel, and they said shooting and selecting photos would take about an hour. I imagine the photos taken at the hotel would turn out quite nice.

11360195****The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Gulangyu Island. It's tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to Longtou Road, where all the restaurants are, and attractions like Sunlight Rock and Shuzhuang Garden. We stayed in Building 9, which was very peaceful. It hardly felt like the bustling National Day holiday, but as soon as we stepped out of the hotel, we were met with throngs of people – truly two different worlds! The hotel has a private back exit for guests that leads to a quiet beach with very few people. The kids absolutely loved it, braving the heat and strong sun for over two hours, catching several small crabs. The hotel used to be a government retreat and is now open to the public. While the facilities and decor are a bit dated, you can tell the original fixtures are still of good quality. The room even came with tea ceremony tools, and the kids had a blast playing tea master – the Dahongpao tea was delicious. The hotel service is outstanding. They offer exclusive shuttle transfers from the ferry terminal to the hotel when you arrive and depart. If you're heading straight to the ferry after sightseeing, you can arrange a time with the hotel, and they'll deliver your luggage to the terminal, allowing you to enjoy your day worry-free. The staff are also incredibly helpful; knowing the kids wanted to play on the beach, they even brought sand-digging tools. When we encountered a staff member on the road and asked for directions to the beach, he simply walked us all the way there. We genuinely loved this hotel and highly recommend it.

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too. The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay. The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself. Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open. The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc. In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

DDabiaojiezaitangpingThis guesthouse has an excellent location, right outside are Zhongshan Road and the Eight Markets, making it super convenient for food and drinks. It's a short walk to Heping Wharf, where you can take a boat tour of Egret Island (Lüdao) and Gulangyu Island. Taxis to Shapowei, the Twin Towers, and Huandao Road are all nearby, which is fantastic and convenient. The entire guesthouse is surrounded by flowers, creating a very cozy atmosphere. The room was also very clean. The guy at the front desk even ground coffee for us, and the landlady is beautiful and very polite. Because we were staying two nights and then heading to our next destination, we couldn't boil water for tea after checking out, but she even helped us make some tea. Everything went smoothly and was a happy experience. I highly recommend staying here when you come to Xiamen.

The room was spacious, clean, and felt more like a serviced apartment—with a huge sofa that could easily seat 6–8 people, a proper living area, and a comfy king bed that made it easy to get good rest. The hotel has its own dedicated lobby for drop-off and pick-up, which made arrivals smooth and hassle-free. Staff were friendly and attentive. I was offered free breakfast, and they even helped with laundry by moving my clothes from the washer to the dryer and placing them at the counter for pickup—just let them know in advance. The food was great, with a mix of Western and Chinese options that were both delicious and satisfying. The location is convenient, especially if you're attending events at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, and getting around the area is easy. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay. Everything was handled with care. GGuest UserA great 4 star hotel just 900 meters (about a 10 minute drive) from Xiamen T4 and T5 airports. ⭐️Positive aspects: Probably the biggest win is their airport shuttle service. They have a nice new Buick van (that is bright purple 🟪- so it is pretty hard to miss) and the van can be there within 10 minutes of when you call the hotel or message them from baggage claim. So the transportation is well organized and very efficient. Mr. Li the van driver was very sweet and kind. The hotel room was nice and big and has very cozy carpet and a nice soft bed with good linens. Shower is hot and amenities in the room are thoughtful, including white tea scented 🫖 soaps and shampoo. The breakfast, service, and furnishings are comparable to other 4 star chains in China like Holiday Inn or Hampton by Hilton or Lavande. Breakfast has a nice spread but mostly Chinese and not so western. That said, the food they do provide is high quality and the noodles are great and the coffee is real. I enjoyed the breakfast. ⭐️A few negative points: I liked the art theme in the hotel and they pull it off well. Each room is themed around a famous painting and I was in the Salvador Dali’s “melting clocks” ⏰ The only thing I can complain about is there are moments when the art feels a little cheesy. For instance- the little ash trays at the elevator with sand in them have kid’s decorations that feel a bit more like kids’ zone stuff than professional artwork. Also the shower 🚿 doors are red glass and that felt like more of a playful Kindergarten space than something matching Salvador Dali. Not a deal breaker but an observation. This kind of art theme can be difficult to pull off in China 🇨🇳. The only other small negative is there is some wear on some of the spaces and walls. At the front desk counter I noticed some old looking and chipped areas of the desk. Overall a great choice next to the airport. I would stay here again.

GGuest UserThis is definitely a treasured B&B that will make you want to return again. From the thoughtful phone call from the B&B host after booking, I felt incredibly caring. They even provided directions, taxis, and snack guides. The B&B is perfectly located, within walking distance of the Music Square and Pearl Bay Beach. The Zengcuoan entrance is just a few minutes' walk away, and taxis are easily accessible to other attractions. I loved the large balcony in the room. In the evening, I could sit and enjoy tea, relax in the breeze, and watch the sunset, and all the fatigue from my travels would melt away. There are many treasured snack shops nearby, offering excellent seafood and satay noodles.

MM528482****As a business traveler who's constantly on the road, this hotel totally won me over! The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive to every detail. In the mornings, the cleaning staff always greets me warmly, and in the evenings, the front desk even offers a warm drink upon my return. The soundproofing in the room is fantastic; I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise at all. The bedding is soft and comfortable against the skin – getting a good night's sleep after a tiring day of business travel is so crucial. The environment is simple yet elegant, and the public areas are neat and well-maintained. Most importantly, the price is really budget-friendly, making it incredible value for money. I've already recommended it to my colleagues!

From check-in to check-out, every staff member makes me feel at home. The facilities in the room are also very comfortable, the mattress is soft and the shower water is strong. Moreover, the location of the hotel is also very convenient, there are many delicious restaurants and attractions nearby. I will stay here next time I come to Xiamen and recommend it to my friends.

The service attitude was great. The room was a bit small but quiet. I do have a suggestion: the facilities seem a bit outdated and could use an upgrade. For example, the window handle in my room was broken, and there were some imperfections in the flooring. Upgrading to things like smart toilets, for instance, would significantly enhance the guest experience.
