Good location for watching sunset and it sits in the middle of Dongbi. Staff were friendly and helped us with the luggages, which was great since our building didn’t have elevators and our room was on the top floor.
We didn’t know that the home stay had multiple structures and were told we couldn’t enjoy the amenities of others. So if you want to use the beautiful pools they prominently featured on their marketing materials please be aware and make sure you book the specific building that includes the pool. We did the booking in a hurry and did not pay much attention, so imagine our surprise once checked in.
The room is also very dated and I suspect there are better options for that price. Most hotels/homesstays have waterfront views so you may many options that are newer.
The included breakfast was very average but the views of their restaurants were spectacular!

Xiapu Shijianhai B&B is worthy of being a popular B&B. It has a superior location. You can see the sunset from the sea view rooms and the Chinese restaurant. The popular road to the sea is right at the doorstep. The swimming pool is super photogenic, as is the western restaurant, the book bar, etc. The facilities are complete and perfect. The room also provides Xiapu local specialty souvenirs, and there are bedtime desserts in the lobby. It satisfies the guests in all aspects. The management team is commended for their hard work. I would also like to commend the quiet lady in the Chinese restaurant for her smiling welcome and helping us reserve the best position on the terrace to watch the sunset. It is heartwarming. This is a great experience. I will choose Shijianhai B&B next time I come to Dongbi.

It's not easy to go out, so we booked a very private water courtyard. We had the whole courtyard to ourselves, enjoying the delicious food, beautiful scenery and sunset. The hotel is in a great location on the east wall. The internet celebrity check-in spot is right next to the hotel. The environment is good and the swimming pool is beautiful.
