My stay at the Zhotel in Xingcheng was incredibly comfortable and heartwarming. The room offered a stunning 180-degree sea view, with an open and expansive vista. The decor was of high quality, and the in-room amenities were thoughtfully selected and felt luxurious. The room was quiet and comfortable, ensuring excellent rest quality. When I needed an extra comforter late at night, the staff responded quickly and delivered it to my room promptly, showing their attentive service. From the front desk and restaurant managers to the restaurant team and housekeeping staff, everyone was friendly and patient. They answered all my questions thoroughly, and even the security guards were warm and genuine. I truly felt the sincere and kind nature of the local Xingcheng people. The front desk offered complimentary coffee with high-quality beans and an excellent coffee machine, making a leisurely cup truly enjoyable. The hotel is right by the beach, so you can walk down to the sea. It was especially convenient for beachcombing on the first day of the ***** month. It's also very close to the Juehua Island pier, making boat trips easy. Taxis in the city are very efficient; I usually got one within two minutes. I enjoyed a leisurely 3km jog along the coastline every morning, with a gentle sea breeze, which was delightful. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of authentic dishes. The tofu pudding and Korean cold noodles were distinctive local Liaoning specialties, and the various pickles and hot stir-fries were also delicious. You can even buy seafood from the local market and have it prepared at the hotel restaurant. The chefs are skilled, and the service team is attentive, recommending practical and tasty preparations. Overall, it offered excellent value for money. The hotel has ample parking. Taxis to attractions like Xingcheng Ancient City, Happy Dragon Bay, and hot springs typically cost less than 15 yuan, making transportation hassle-free. With comfortable accommodations and heartwarming service, this hotel is highly recommended for a vacation in Xingcheng.

In the morning, I watched the boats departing for Juehua Island. I then went downstairs for a walk in Juhuanv Seashore Park and explored Sanjiao Lansheng.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the Xingcheng ferry terminal. Rooms on the east side offer a unique experience, allowing you to see the pier and sunrise directly from your bed. The hotel itself is a renovation of an older private hotel (only floors 6-9 were renovated; floors 1-5 remain at a guesthouse-like standard). It seems to have later joined a brand, and the overall renovation definitely aligns with the brand's standards. However, since it's an older hotel, some hardware components appear dated, possibly due to poor maintenance or not being fully replaced. Objectively, the cleanliness was also just average; it didn't hold up to close inspection, which was a bit disappointing. While the room view was excellent, the room size was quite small. The hotel breakfast is priced at 28/person, and it was decent, offering good value for the price. The hotel's location is superb, with plenty of seafood restaurants and street stalls downstairs, making dining and walks along the beach very convenient. The hotel has a private enclosed parking lot, but it seems to be shared with two or three other hotels, and cars heading to the beach and pier also park there, so parking can be quite tight during peak season. We visited during the fishing ban, so the fishing boats at the pier couldn't go out, meaning we weren't bothered by noise. While hotel prices rise significantly during holidays, if you visit during the off-season, none of the issues I mentioned would be a problem.

The hotel is very close to the pier, making it ideal for enjoying sea views and overlooking the entire seaside area. It has a private courtyard with ample parking, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel staff are professional, welcoming, and provide attentive service. Upon check-in, the female receptionist upgraded my room free of charge, and upon check-out, she helped store my luggage and provided bottled water. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and fully equipped.
