Guanwang Guesthouse

The shop assistant, Xiao Pingguo, was incredibly kind and hospitable. She was very helpful and looked after me whenever I needed assistance. She's a wonderful young woman, and I'm very grateful. Although the rooms are a bit small, they're still quite cozy. It was my first time visiting Wanfenglin, and staying in this tranquil guesthouse, where I could even pet cats, was a wonderful experience.

This place is really nice. You can quietly gaze at the "Fu" character field, pet the cats, and listen to music—a perfect life!

We went late at night and the only room left was the owner's, which was a bit damp. The second day, we moved to the "Zi" room, which was quite nice. You can see the view from the third picture. There are stairs to get to his place, but that's okay; the staff can help carry things up. They're all young people, and the owner and waiters are very welcoming. He can cook. If you like hiking and camping, ask the owner; he goes camping and hiking often. We had a small child.

The location and design are quite unique. Although it's at the southernmost tip of the Wanfenglin Scenic Area, overlooking the Fuzi Field, it lacks the convenience and bustle of the area (bicycles and taxis are available, which is fine), but it offers a sense of leisure and tranquility. The public lobby is very comfortable, and the picture windows are perfect for sitting for an entire afternoon. Speaking of the rooms, I stayed in a separate cabin with complete amenities, but perhaps due to its proximity to the mountain, the room was a bit damp, and the quilt felt a bit clammy. I checked in in early July, and the staff said it was rainy, so it could be a bit damp. I'm not sure about other times of the year. The weather is very comfortable here, and the air conditioning isn't necessary. Next door is the owner's artistic cafe, so you can enjoy a stroll if you're not busy.

The view is much better on the second floor; the windows offer views of rice paddies and mountains—a nice view, I recommend this apartment type.

A perfect score goes entirely to the people. Everyone at this B&B is wonderful. The facilities are average. Because it rains so frequently, it can be a bit damp, and there's even some mold on the walls. However, these minor issues are easily outweighed by the stunning views. The whole point is to enjoy nature, right? Oh, and Wa Yuan Coffee is right next door, very convenient.
