I’ve always enjoyed my stays in Mercure hotels, as they are typically very clean, affordable, and well-located. This hotel fits their brand image. Hotel staff at the front desk were polite and efficient, getting our check in finished without any hassles. The room was spacious and very clean, with all the amenities needed. The Japanese toilet is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and made for a restful sleep. There was one problem with the room. The air conditioning did not work. The room sat at 25 degrees the whole time, despite setting the thermostat at 21. The room temperature was a bit stifling so we had to keep the window open, which allowed a lot of traffic noise in. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would recommend the hotel.
