Zhengzhou Wanguizhou Hotel (Zhengzhou Airport)

I cannot understand how this hotel can have such positive reviews... First, it was not possible to reach it on the phone after arrival, the airport staff tried to call them several times within 20 minutes and no reply. Airport pick-up non-existent, we had to pay for taxi. The hotel is in a poor street with warehouses, nothing around. The reception was empty. After 5 minutes of ringing the bell the receptionist came with lazy moves and dressed in nightrobe, having no intetest in customers. No English of course. The room was freezingly cold, the owner let large window open in freezing temperatures. We almost freezed up. The air-conditioning was set on 30 degrees (maximum), but had almost no impact. Windows look like in a warehouse, dirty, absolute dirt in the view from the window. Everything was so freezing there, the bed, the floor, the pillows. No appliances to make tea or coffee. Bathroom small and full of water after shower. Toilet paper barely for 2 uses, no more. Only main light, no reading lights, nothing else. Cigarette smell everywhere and really annoying. Absolute disaster this poor hotel, never again. We had a second reservation for Friday and we cancelled it and found something else. Absolutely do not recommend.
