The room I was in had a Greek theme, bright and lovely and with a large balcony. When I stayed the hotel seemed very quiet, and it had lovely views towards the mountains. It is a bit of a distance from the *main tourist entrance* to Yuntaishan, but close to some of villages on the mountain itself. I didn't easily see restaurants nearby. Foreigners are welcome at this hotel, just be prepared: they asked for a quite a few details during check in, such as the license plate number of the taxi I arrived in. But those are just extra questions, there was no further bother after that 😊

Our suite was large and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. It's rural and peaceful. Good for quiet retreat. Hotel manager was helpful and resourceful when we could not find a Didi pickup to town and train station.
