I stayed at Topas Eco Lodge for two nights in early June.
This was one of the best accommodations I've had on dozens of overseas trips. It was a place I wanted to come back to again.
The accommodation is far enough from the accommodation next door to ensure privacy. So I think the balcony view is slightly different for each room.
Some of the staff had difficulty conversing in English, but they greeted me warmly when I greeted them in the local language first. They all did their best.
The four-season heated pool was great for playing with children.
However, it's a 40-minute drive from downtown Sapa, so there are no other restaurants or shops nearby, so you have to eat all your food in the accommodation. I didn't think it was great for the price.
Of course, considering the cost-effectiveness, I wouldn't have chosen this accommodation, but if I had to pick something that was a little disappointing, it would be the food.
Aside from that, I'm absolutely satisfied, and if anyone asks, this is an accommodation I would recommend.
