Cosy mountain hotel but there was no mointain or lake view. It was amidst a forest and a bit isolated. There was a complimentary spa. Very kind and professional (and eloquent !) Canadian receptionist some of the evenings. There was a miscommunication about the breakfast because our booking document did not indicate that it was included by default. The fact that we had to order it online one day in advance and that prices were indicated online did not help to avoid this misunderstanding. We ended up skipping hotel breakfasts and ate out. More clarity upon arrival could have helped. Communication could also be improved on the possibility of sending luggage. We were told by another receptionist at first that it was not possible. However, upon further inquiry in the end it was just "not convenient" for him to deal with it. He was answering detailed questions vaguely, requesting us to bring the luggage ourselves to the sending place or to stay at the hotel waiting for the transport company to come by. This was very different from the helpful attitude in other hotels. Fortunately, after talking to the manager the receptionist realised the error and brought us to the supermarket and assisted us with sending our luggage, so all ended well. For all clarity, sending luggage IS possible but should be done at least 2 days before departure so that it can be charged correctly. If assistance in sending luggage would not have been possible, I would not have recommended staying at this hotel. Now it is a 9/10.

A very secluded place. Great to unwind from the chaos of the major cities. Staff members were very friendly. Place is a hotel but feels like home.

The hotel was great and well kept. It’s ideal if you’re driving. The driver was incredibly helpful, thank you. Shirt ride to Hirano beach, perfect location for sunrise and sunset.

山中湖の静かな環境にあるホテルです。中国系のスタッフの方がワンオペで頑張っており、日本語で一生懸命対応してくれる姿には好感が持てました。ただ、日本の一般的なリゾートホテルのサービス水準を期待していくと、設備面などで戸惑う部分があるかもしれません。 気になった点 空調の自由度： なぜかこの季節なのに暖房の切り替えがフロント一括制御となっており、個別に指示を出さないと調整できない点は、今の時代少し不便に感じました。 • お風呂とサウナ： 大浴場が男女別ではなく時間制の貸切運用でした。夫婦で一緒に入れるメリットはありますが、露天風呂が使えず、サウナの温度も「汗が出ないほど低い」状態だったのは非常に残念です。 • 防音性： 壁が薄いのか、隣の部屋の赤ちゃんの声がかなり響きます。静寂を求める方は対策が必要かもしれません。 • 食事： 朝食ビュッフェやウェルカムコーヒーについては、及第点ではありますが、質より種類という印象です。 総評 おそらく経営が海外資本に変わったようで、運営スタイルも合理的というか、良くも悪くも「外人向け」の割り切った作りです。スタッフの対応自体は悪くないので、細かい設備や食にこだわらず、貸切風呂を家族で利用したいといった目的であればアリだと思います。 「リゾート」という言葉から期待するラグジュアリーさにはあと一歩届かないため、今後の改善に期待を込めての評価とします。

本日午前9時頃、ノックや事前の連絡も一切ないまま、スタッフがカードキーで私たちの部屋のドアを開け、入室しようとしました。おそらく清掃のためだったと思われます。 当時、私は起床直後で着替えもしておらず、このような対応はホテルとして極めて不適切であり、非常に不快でした。この行為は安全面においても問題があり、到底容認できるものではありません。 私はこれを重大な権利侵害であり、私および同伴者の安全を脅かす行為だと考えています。同伴者は強いストレスを受けており、精神的な被害も生じています。もしこの部屋に女性が一人で宿泊していた場合、さらに深刻な事態に発展していた可能性もあります。 つきましては、ホテル側からの正式な説明を求めるとともに、今回の件により台無しとなった滞在・一日分に対する全額返金を要求いたします。 また、再発防止のための適切な対応を講じていただき、その内容についてご報告いただきますようお願いいたします。
