Johnson Yamanakako Kohannoyado

Great value for money! The location is about two kilometers from Lake Yamanaka's main station. There are buses, but they're not very frequent. It's about 200 meters inland from the lake, so you won't see Lake Yamanaka directly, but the views are still excellent. The room was huge; my single room felt like it could easily accommodate at least three people. Although the room facilities looked a bit old, everything worked perfectly, and it was very clean. The owner is an elderly gentleman who was very kind. On the day we arrived, it was raining, and he drove us to go shopping. The next day, he drove me to the station. There's only one large bathroom with a bathtub. You need to let the owner know your preferred bathing time in advance, and he'll come knock on your door when it's ready.

A bit far from the city center, but it's very peaceful and quiet, plus there's a large public bath for soaking. The environment is also extremely clean, and both the host and hostess are very hospitable. It's also very close to Shiratori Beach. Just remember to buy water or food at a convenience store before you arrive, otherwise the nearest one is about 1.5 kilometers away. The room itself is very traditional Japanese style and kept exceptionally clean.

The room was spacious enough for three or four people. The owner was incredibly kind; he drove me to the supermarket to see Mt. Fuji at sunset, and we even shopped together. He also had his wife cook the beef and shrimp I bought at the supermarket. To top it off, when I accidentally left something behind, Ctrip called me about it. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

We checked in around 10 PM, but were warmly welcomed. They were very kind and helpful with an unusual request we had, even serving our kids shaved ice. We were truly grateful. We'd love to stay here again.
