We had a wonderful time in a very beautiful villa! We even saw deer in the morning! The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of cooking utensils and condiments, making our stay very comfortable!

The room was exquisitely beautiful, and my wife was very pleased. It's quite convenient for self-driving tours; we bought dinner from the supermarket and cooked in the room, which was incredibly relaxing. We even saw deer the next morning, which was very lucky.

I spent three days and two nights at Yamanakako 1st, and it was a perfect immersive nature experience. The cabin's environment was quiet and completely surrounded by nature. The indoor facilities were complete and of excellent quality, reflecting the owner's dedication to quality living. It's ideal for anyone looking to quietly enjoy their vacation. Important advice for self-drivers: Please be very careful when using navigation. Google Maps sometimes directs you onto mountain paths that are very rough and difficult to drive on. I strongly recommend checking the route on a map beforehand and trying to take the main roads up; it will make driving much easier!

Fantastic hotel! The room was well-equipped with high-quality amenities. My friends and I bought some food from the supermarket and cooked a simple meal in the room. We also lit a bonfire, stargazed, and even set off some fireworks – it was a lot of fun. Self check-in and check-out were very convenient. In the evening, a herd of deer even passed by behind our room, which was an amazing surprise! I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

The room has a projector, which really adds to the ambiance. I'd love to go back again in the winter for the snow views. The fridge is stocked with lots of ingredients, but you have to pay extra for them. There's a convenience store nearby, so I recommend buying your own food there and cooking it back at the room.

The view is nice. Yet the location is not easy to find, specially in the dark, it took us 20 mins to find the location. The day we check in was pouring rain, therefore we cannot see anything. However, waking up in the early morning, the Mt. Fuji was just in front of us. The bed is big enough for 4 people. The heat is enough, there is projector so a group of fd can watch movie together, all the cooking accessories is prepared, but cleaning up garbage might cause a bit of time to do. The laundry machine is not able to wash many clothes in one time.

Had a wonderful and refreshing stay at SANU 2nd Home Yamanakako 1st. True to its “2nd Home” concept, the entire experience felt peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing — like having your own private retreat surrounded by nature. The cabin is beautifully set within a natural environment, with stunning mountain landscapes and a calm atmosphere that allows you to fully unwind from busy city life. Waking up to the fresh air and scenic views was one of the highlights of the stay. The space was cozy, well designed, and perfect for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. I would recommend arriving and checking in before the sky gets dark, as the natural surroundings make it easier and more enjoyable to settle in while there is still daylight. Overall, it was a unique and memorable stay. Perfect for anyone looking for a quiet escape and a chance to experience nature in comfort. Would love to return again.
