Fuji Takara-so Asahikan

I came to Lake Yamanaka for a cycling trip this time. After reading many guides, I chose this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it. The owner was very friendly, and the hotel paid great attention to detail. The room was also very clean and comfortable. The location is convenient, close to both the bus stop and the lake, and there's a bike rental right outside the door.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Mori station, just a 400-meter walk away, and it's easy to get to by bus. It's nestled right in the forest, offering a beautiful, natural environment. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

The hotel itself is a bit dated, and the facilities are quite basic. However, the room was incredibly spacious and generally clean. The absolute highlight is its excellent location, just about 200 meters from the Lake Yamanaka swan boat dock. In the morning, you can step right out and enjoy a direct view of Mount Fuji. There's also a 7-Eleven nearby, which is super convenient for grabbing breakfast and drinks. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the owner/front desk. When they learned the in-room TV signal was unstable, they specially prepared a TV box for us and proactively helped with an extra bed. They were also very friendly and patient with our children, making our family stay very comfortable. While the hardware isn't the newest, considering the location, space, cleanliness, and the warm hospitality, we were very satisfied and would recommend it to families.

You can take a direct bus from Shinjuku to the hotel's vicinity, which makes the location very convenient. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals at 2200 yen for 3 hours, allowing you to cycle around the lake. The owner is very welcoming and provides excellent service.

The front desk staff were kind, and I was able to relax and rest. The room was spacious, and I liked how the entrance, bedroom, and bathroom were separate.

The environment is excellent, surrounded by lush greenery and a pleasant ecosystem. Just stepping out of the hotel at 7 AM, I was greeted by three relaxed sika deer. 3. The owner speaks Chinese, making communication smooth and hassle-free throughout our stay. 4. The hotel facilities are basic, but the rooms are quite spacious. For our family of four, the owner gave us a tatami family room, which was very roomy even for four people.
