The hotel is beautifully located on a hill with stunning views. The breakfast is excellent with many options. The room is clean and comfortable. The onsen offers a great view and is very clean. I also love that the bath and skincare amenities are well-prepared and complimentary.

It is a really elegant and well-located hotel. I loved the breakfast which was extremely varied and well catered for. There are 2 onsen, both with a view of FujiSan on the outside. If you don't have a car, there is a free shuttle bus available every day to take you down to the village at various times. You will also be picked up at the bus stop on arrival. Friendly and well mannered person. High-quality service

It’s so comfortable to stay at MT FUJI HOTEL nearby the lake. If you r lucky, you may see the whole Mt Fuji from the garden/ onsen ! :) highly recommended for those who wanna enjoy view and also spend worthy pay on your stay.

View is fantastic good and can see mountain Fuji. Staffs are helpful and willing to help for resolving problem.

Cleanliness 10/10 The wet and dry area of the bathroom are separate. Everyday they will clean the room unless you decline the cleaning service. Location 10/10 The area is secluded, the place is very private. For someone who doesn’t like crowded places and love peace and quiet, this place is for you. Plus it has a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. It just so sad we only stayed 3days and 2nights, we checked-in late on our first day when Mt. Fuji showed up. We were busy looking for a place to eat since the hotel restaurant was already fully booked for dinner. The next day it rained and Mt. Fuji doesn’t show up until the day we left 😞 I suggest booking early if you want to eat dinner at the hotel since the nearest restaurant is already at the foot of the mountain which is 5-10minutes by car, and around 20-30minutes walk. The hotel provides free shuttle going down until 5:30pm only while until 8:00pm for picking up on yamanakako bus stop. For someone who loves to walk while enjoying the view, it really doesn’t matter but it tends to be dark and might be dangerous to walk at night time since it’s in the mountain side. Overall, I love the location, you won’t actually want to go out when you are in this resort. It has everything you need except hair conditioner 😅 Service 10/10 The staffs are really friendly and easy to talk with. All our requests were granted except booking dinner on our first night since we arrived late, though, the staff is very helpful to give us recommendations where to eat and helping us to book a shuttle. On the day of our check-out, the staff didn’t understand that we reserved the shuttle later that day to go out on the bus stop, but he immediately resolved it without arguing. Amenities 10/10 Amenities is complete but we haven’t used that since some of our members have tattoos and cannot use the sauna and onsen. While some of us are reserved and not used to being naked on the open 😂 Anyway, the rooms are spacious and we had a comfortable stay. We would definitely book this hotel again when we want to stay on a place with the view of Mt. Fuji. And we would love to recommend this place to our friends.

Nice breakfast! It has great variety of breakfast choices ranging from Japanese, Western and Chinese food, the taste is really authentic and delicious! The Mt Fuji view from the hotel restaurant gave us an unforgettable experience and I will definitely visit this hotel again!

The hotel has nice onsen with great view of starry sky at night, the view to Mount Fuji is also great. However, the hotel wing that we stayed are a bit too old and the bathroom is small.

Highly recommend to stay here during you stay around Mt Fuji! The baths/Onsens are amazing (shared, and male and female are separated) and luxurious. The views are amazing and service is great! We’ve rented a car, so I am not quite sure if it is easy to get to the hotel without one.

Nice view for the onsen. Breakfast view is fantastic to see the mountain 🏔️ Fuji . Only thing is the location is good for drive only.

The hotel requires a drive all the way up the hill. Hence, it's not recommended if you are not driving. Onsen and private baths are the best highlights for this hotel, otherwise the food options were very pricey. Stayed in a premium twin room and they placed a lamp right next to the mirror door which we accidentally hit and broke it while using the mirror. The hotel wanted to charged 20,000 yen for the accidental damage but we negotiated for a lower fee. Thankfully they accepted in view that we were sincere about paying but not an exorbitant pricing. Cautious to anyone staying here to look out for breakable furnishing in the room.
