I told them at the front desk that I had reserved two rooms, but my app showed a booking for two rooms plus one extra. They charged me an additional 9,000 JPY on site, which seems a bit unreasonable!

I love Yamanakako and have stayed around the lake 5 or 6 times over the past 4 years and at various different places. For me and my needs, this was the best place that I have stayed at so far. Reasonably-priced, with a great, lake-side location (and Fuji-san views behind) and easy (walkable) access to restaurants and convenience stores (7-11 is the nearest). Our tatami room was nice and clean and although it didn't have its own toilet, the shared facilities (toilets and separate bath) were also very clean. The staff were friendly too. I like to try staying at new places but would happily (and most probably will) stay at Lakepia Angel again. That would give me the opportunity to try the food, which I didn't experience this time. Thanks!

Japanese hotel house turn into hotel spacious but you have to walk out to reach the toilet at the middle of the night😁 and there is amazing spa for bath.

I made a mistake when booking, and only found out upon check-in that the bathroom and toilet were in a public area. Luckily, I could see Mount Fuji without any obstruction in the morning.
