Great location, and the owner's family was very kind. It was really nice that we could have dinner set meals at the dining hall until 10 PM.

The B&B price is unbeatable, it's clean, and even includes breakfast.

It was easy to find as we were traveling by rental car. Though it's an older-style accommodation, the large bed and two single beds made for a comfortable stay. After checking in, we took our amenities and yukatas to our room. There are two open-air baths, so we used them in the evening and morning. It was really nice that they could be used like private family baths. My 9-year-old son couldn't go into the men's bath alone without an adult, so we had given up on the onsen experience. But here, we all went in together and even learned how to properly use the bath. Breakfast was served with great care, and the 11 AM checkout time allowed for a leisurely meal. All in all, it was a very satisfying place to stay.

Close to Hirano Beach, making it convenient for watching the sunrise. Choosing a guesthouse run by a Chinese owner was definitely the right decision; luckily, the owner arranged for someone to pick us up at Asahidai Station, otherwise, carrying two huge suitcases would have been a real struggle. The hot spring was incredibly comfortable, almost like a private bath, with two outdoor pools and no other guests. We thoroughly enjoyed soaking all evening. The breakfast was also very thoughtful, I highly recommend it. The restaurant was beautiful and cozy too, I forgot to take photos!

The hostess is absolutely wonderful. If I ever come back to Mount Fuji, I'd choose this hotel specifically because of her. She helped me book a car to see the fireworks festival, translated for me, lent me a bicycle to ride around the lake, and even offered to drive me when it rained while I was on my way to Lake Yamanaka Hirano. She's the same age as my father and married into Japan a long time ago. The hot springs are great, and breakfast is delicious. The small open-air bath outside the family bath was very pleasant! The ice lolly service was also a nice bonus! Breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly made omelets! The couple who run it were very accommodating, and I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Lake Yamanaka!
