Hotel Mifuji

The hotel provided a best room to view Mt.Fuji. The staffs were very friendly. A part of the hotei is being renovated during the stay but not noise. Wated to play table tennis but no facilities for table tennis. From Fujikyu Highland station, a bus rides to Hirano bus station in Lake Yamanaka. Takes 5 minis walk easy walk to the hotel. Good value for money.

With the warm hospitality of the hotel owner, Mount Fuji view room has been arranged for my family for 2 days. Also, you can enjoy hot bath, pool, games etc. in the common area.

Our stay at Hotel Mifuji fell short of standard Japanese hospitality due to major facility and service issues. Upon arrival, the bellhop broke our luggage handle. While the concierge tried to help with insurance, he was too overwhelmed with other guests to resolve it. The property itself is poorly maintained: we found a hand-sized spider in our room, the bathroom had a warped mirror, no hot water in the shower, and no bidet function. Additionally, there is no AC in the lobby or hallways, and the Wi-Fi drops every minute. When we raised concerns about the building and internet issues, the staff could only promise to "let the landlord know." While the staff was polite, the infrastructure made for an uncomfortable stay.

A very nice and clean hotel with friendly service

We stayed in hotel mifuji to watch the ice candle festival that was held yesterday Feb 22, 2026. We were supposed to stay for one night but because of the hospitality of the receptionist and also the hotel has a pool table that my partner liked, we extended for 1 more night. It’s good for guest with cars.

I have enjoyed my stay and have a pleasant time in hotel mifuji, I feel family warm welcome while staying here and have an unforgettable experience as they organize new year celebration during my stay here and enjoy the mochi and soba . Thank you for the hospitality and “happy new year 😉”
