Voyan Resort Fujiyamanakako Gekkoso

The hotel's location is excellent, right by Lake Yamanaka with Mount Fuji visible from just outside. It offers a great view and angle for enjoying Mount Fuji. It's also very close to the Yamanakako bus station for public transport, and there's a bicycle rental spot nearby, which is very convenient for tourists. The hotel food is quite good, refined, and tasty. However, the bathroom in the room wasn't great; it was mainly too small. While the room itself was actually much larger than any other Japanese hotel room we've stayed in, the bathroom was surprisingly tiny.

The place was clean and the environment was simple. You could see Mount Fuji, though the toilet was a bit small. Overall, everything was great; the staff had excellent service, and the surroundings were very quiet and beautiful.

The rooms and views were fine. The only problem was that there were no staff on duty on the first floor of this open-plan hotel. The main door was sensor-operated; even passing animals could open it. After entering, you had to change shoes. The hotel shoes were recycled, similar to Muji shoes; it's unclear whether they were disinfected after other guests used them, but they were piled up and smelled bad. After changing shoes, you turned a corner and went upstairs. The room door had a combination lock, but there was no deadbolt from the inside. The night we stayed, someone tried to open our door, entering the wrong code twice. We noticed and shouted, and they quickly ran away. We contacted Ctrip customer service to have them handle it, because we couldn't reach any staff and there was a language barrier. Ctrip customer service was quite responsive, but it was truly terrifying. I only slept for 2-3 hours that night; I couldn't get a good night's sleep at all. I'm speechless.

Facilities: The guesthouse was too old, the air conditioner was incredibly loud (even with earplugs), and the soundproofing was terrible. Because it was wooden, you could hear everything clearly when someone opened their door across the hall. Cleanliness: Very poor cleanliness…there was hair everywhere. Since I have short hair, the abundance of long hair in the room felt eerie. Service: Check-in was only available at 4 PM, and later we couldn't find any staff. The Indonesian guy was very kind; I was too cold to sleep, so I asked him for an extra blanket and a small blanket (but it was still very cold). Overall, I don't recommend it. Those who like to endure hardship might want to come. This is the most ridiculous hotel I've stayed in during my three years in Japan. It's also a bit far from Hirano no Hama; I suggest staying at the guesthouse on the left side, as this one has too many obstructions.

The room was spacious and beautiful, with a stunning view of Mount Ohus Si. The staff were very friendly.

You can see Mount Fuji from the center of Guangdong, and the place is quite large. There are convenience stores and bicycle rentals nearby, which is very convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful – highly recommended!

The staff were from Indonesia and even communicated with us in English, so the experience was quite good.

You can see Mount Fuji from the room. It's a quick walk to the Hirano Beach. If you want to see the golden mountain in the morning, you can open the curtains to see the clarity of Mount Fuji today before deciding whether to go downstairs. The room has a private bathroom and is very large. The hotel is not new overall. You have to carry your luggage upstairs by yourself. There is no elevator. It takes 7-8 minutes to walk from the Hirano bus station to the hotel with luggage.
