Village Kagetsuen

Six of us, ranging from our 20s to 50s, rented out a whole unit. For dinner, we had a BBQ at the main building. We grilled with charcoal indoors in a spacious area, and the food was delicious and plentiful. The room's kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, chopsticks, cups, a microwave, and a rice cooker. There was no toaster, though. We sorted our trash and took it out to the outdoor bins upon checkout. Even in mid-September, we needed to use the heater at night. The bathroom and vanity area were sufficiently spacious. Body soap and shampoo/conditioner combo were provided. There was also Febreze and disinfectant spray, as well as an air purifier. Bath towels were not included, but hand towels were provided. I forgot my toothbrush but was able to buy one for 100 yen. The beds and futons were comfortable, and I slept very well. The staff were calm, kind, and attentive. We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

It's cooler here than in Tokyo and Kyoto. It's 39 degrees Celsius there, but here the highest is only 28 degrees Celsius. It's very cool, and the cold water is bone-chilling, like snow water. This hotel doesn't have air conditioning, so be careful if the local temperature exceeds 28 degrees Celsius; the chances of that are slim. There was only one staff member throughout our stay, both morning and evening. He was very nice, and our breakfast was included, which he also made. The toast was very crispy, and actually warmer and tastier than other hotel breakfasts. The environment is excellent; I personally loved it. There's a kitchen and a refrigerator, making it suitable for a long-stay vacation. It's a 10-minute walk to the lake to take pictures of Mount Fuji. We even encountered a little shrimp on the way; it was very cute. There must be many animals nearby. It's very dark at night, so don't wander around too much.
