This small family owned onsen was a total jewel. Snuggled in a quiet small town. The scenery was amazing and local enough to walk to beautiful shrines and delicious local restaurants. I recommend booking breakfast, as it is a very private experience with an exquisite spread of traditional Japanese plates. The owners are sweet and super accommodating, with proper communication as we arrived super late (2:00am) and were still just as friendly and helpful.

Very good hotel, the real appearance is several times better than the pictures introduced. When the hotel drove us to the station, I saw the old lady from the hotel across the river watching our car go away and waving and bowing to us goodbye.

Очень понравилось это место! Обслуживание, завтрак и ужин были на высшем уровне! У нас была большая комната на 4-х человек с видом на реку, в помещении зимой было очень тепло. Круто, что еще нам выдали ключик от общественных баней, но полотенце для печатей было платным. Также о нас позаботились и дали нам теплую зимнюю обувь для прогулок. Горячие источники в отеле на верхнем этаже очень красивые, можно спокойно провести время в одиночестве вечером и утром. А Шибу-онсен очень эстетичная деревушка, было приятно по ней гулять! Очень рекомендую!

強烈推薦。我們到了湯田中車站之後撥打了酒店電話，女主人非常熱情地開車來車站接我們去酒店。酒店位置很好，温泉小鎮就在河的對面，步行過橋幾分鐘就能到達。
酒店是日式風格，非常乾淨，頂樓有自己的室內温泉。早餐和晚餐都很精緻。如果想坐巴士去燒額山、一之瀨滑雪場，車站就在酒店河對面，步行三分鐘可到達。

What about in-room dining? Dinner: All meals are brought to you on a tray at the requested time, including dessert. Breakfast: The futon is pushed aside to make room for eating, and then the meal is served. The waitresses were very polite, including some funny ones.
