Best Hotels in Yamba
Explore Yamba from hotels near iconic landmarks, popular shopping streets, and top dining spots.
The Carmel Yamba
"The hotel was nice, but rather small with limited rooms, and it was very windy that day."
The Surf Yamba
"The rooms are beautifully renovated and decorated. Beware when booking as there are only 4 rooms with views, the rest look out to a building. Best to book directly as the websites have tiny writing stating seaview. There is a lovely shared rooftop that has a small plunge pool with seaviews and a 2nd deck with a coffee bar and snacks provided. Minibar is included. Worth the price only if u get a sea view room."
Pacific Hotel Yamba
"Our favourite ocean front hotel. Come back every year."
Moby Dick Waterfront Resort Motel
"Lovely place. Very spacious. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff/management."
Yamba Sun Motel
"Not the cleanest space but was ok"
The Cove Yamba
"Great view. Great location. Perfect getaway for my partner and I. Would definitely come back!"
Yamba Central
"The overall experience of the youth hostel located in Yamba Central is quite excellent, the environment is clean and tidy, the space is comfortable and relaxing. The staff is kind and welcoming and provides many local travel suggestions. The atmosphere in the public area is relaxed, very suitable for meeting travelers from all over the place, and the overall CP value is very high."
Club Maclean Motel
"The room is very clean. There is a bar downstairs, which is very convenient for eating and drinking."
Yamba Beach Motel
"This hotel was the best one until now during our Australia trip. Wonderful room, a very friendly and kind host, perfect location."

Il Delfino Seaside Inn
"I don’t often write reviews, but after stays in both Byron Bay and Yamba, I felt compelled to share a clear comparison. In Byron, we stayed at Raes at Wategos — genuinely exceptional in every respect: immaculate rooms, perfect beachfront setting, included breakfast, nightly turndown service, and staff who made every detail feel personal. It’s a true five-star experience. By contrast, Il Delfino looks stylish and enjoys a great ocean view, but that’s where the resemblance ends. Despite being in roughly the same price range, it’s completely unstaffed and offers no service at all — no daily cleaning (just a light one every four days), no minibar, no room service, nothing beyond a coffee pod machine and milk in the fridge. It operates more like an Airbnb with hotel pricing. At about $1,000 a night, it feels stripped-back and impersonal — design without hospitality. If it were priced around $500, it might rate a 4/5 for its looks alone, but at this level, the value simply isn’t there. The design is elegant, yes, but the experience lacks warmth, care, and any sense of welcome. Coming straight from Raes, the contrast was stark: one is world-class; the other just looks the part. All things considered, 2 out of 5 feels generous."
