As the ancient saying goes, Guilin’s scenery tops those elsewhere, and Yangshuo landscape tops that of Guilin. It was not until I choose the place, Moon Villa, that I found it really worthy of going. The great views from hotel, the outstanding concierge service and the thoughtful tailor-made trip arrangement I gained at Moon Villa surpassed my wildest expectations and I never ever anticipated to love Moon Villa as much as I did. Once stayed with them, I was all in with their one-stop service and I couldn’t picture myself anywhere else if I revisit Yangshuo. From my personal angle alone, the meaning of travel is not how many photos you take but how many heartbeat moments you can remember. Because of Moon Villa’s team and their 24/7 service, I will remember everything without doubt! Goodbye doesn’t mean forever. If it did, we ought to be saying Badbye. Stay cool and KIT. Looking forward to seeing you guys and staying with you guys again in August. We would like to say a big thanks to all of the staff at the Tong Resort for our short but memorable stay. From a warm welcome to a fond farewell, Tong Resort gives everything you’d hope for. The hardware was all in good working order, the level of cleanliness was excellent and the service is on par or even better than international-level 5-star hotels such as The Ritz-Carlton. Quite outstanding! The hotel reached out to me prior to arrival day for check-in and special occasion arrangements. The hotel has a WeChat private service group where all of your requests can be disseminated at ease; with the nature of our trip being a birthday surprise celebration it was rather effective! The hotel offers private car pick-up service from Yangshuo Railway Station or you may also choose Didi. Upon arrival at Tong Resort, we were presented with welcome drinks, invited to be seated and were promptly escorted to our room. You can tell they have placed a lot of thought into the room features and design; they even embroidered the hotel logo into their bed linen. The hotel offers shuttle car services to and from West Street, this is one of the most famous global streets in China which is a must visit for all Yangshuo travelers. When we arrived back at the hotel, we were spoilt with free late night snacks sent to our room and most importantly the hotel did not forget about the birthday cake which was timely delivered at 00:00. The breakfast by the swimming pool was scrumptious. There is a choice between Asian and Western and you can select as many items as you wish from the menu which in turn gets freshly prepared for you. The team is doing such a good job; although the hotel has only been opened for 2 years, it seems as though the staff as been trained for over 10 years! What’s more, after check out whilst we were waiting at the lobby for Didi, a staff member had the attentiveness to place down glasses of water which she had no obligation for doing. What a nice gesture! At the end, essentially it’s these finer touches that sets a hotel from its counterparts.

Super location, superb staff (especially the front office, housekeeping and restaurant staff). Big shout out to Alice. Speaks English well and took care of our every need from picking us up to sending us off to our next destination (pro-tip: make all your bookings through her. She not only can make them for you but can also get you a good discount). Facilities were on point. Honourable mention goes to the laundry facilities. The hotel is situated about 200 metres behind the Yulong river and nested in a quiet village, tucked not too far away from the tourist attractions of the Shili Hualang 十里画廊. The scenery is great and generally very, very calm. The management team is extremely helpful and friendly, even when we left a few items bought from them, we got a full refund quickly as it was the most convenient for us. Great for vegetarian - the hotel runs a good vegetarian (Chinese) options. Their western options are really limited to toast and butter served with coffee. Great if you are ok with a Chinese menu. We loved their cat, 包子 the most. The cute and chubby Garfield cat enjoys Yangshuo more than anyone there. Unfortunately their pool was under renovation during the hot weather season while we were there. Otherwise it could've been even better. Generally clean rooms. Great for couples, retirees and young families.

Looking out the window is Baili Gallery~ The hotel has many nice decorations, small smart controls throughout the house, and smart toilets~ *Main: pet friendly and clean. When traveling far and taking your dog with you, it is really important to have a warm and comfortable bed, a clean environment, and a hot shower ~ ps: The food is delicious~ The chef is very professional, the kitchen is open and very clean~ The vegetables are all grown by ourselves, there is a large vegetable garden, and the kitchen aunt picks them herself, they are very fresh👍. There is a special area for taking photos and dressing up in the lobby, and various accommodation necessities are provided for free. When I went there, it just happened to rain and cool down the year before, so the misty and rainy scene was not bad😌 It can be seen that the boss here is a person who loves life very much ~ All in all, it’s a very recommended hotel~
