Tea Cozy Hotel

This is the best hotel I stayed at during my trip in China. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the fact that they speak English was very helpful. There’s a kitchen open until late, and the staff can help you book tickets for local attractions, which made everything so easy. I loved leaving my room just to sit and drink tea; the atmosphere is so calm and inviting. The hotel is near a beautiful open field with a lovely café, and they also have a garden, which adds to the peaceful feeling. The rooms are beautifully decorated, beds are heated (stayed in January), and the views from the balcony are stunning. We already miss everyone and truly felt at home here. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Tea Cozy was amazing! As soon as we arrived the staff was there to help us check in and carry our luggage. They spoke amazing English which made it very easy to communicate. Our room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The food was also amazing, with choices of Western or Chinese plates for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. During our three day stay we became very familiar and friendly with the staff and all interactions felt personal. After staying in multiple luxury hotels earlier in our trip, the Tea Cozy felt more relaxing and calm, and will be our first choice when we return to China.

This is the place to stay in Yangshuo, look no further! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful to make my visit in Yangshuo wonderful despite the poor weather. Even though I showed up pretty late I still was able to get my bearings for what to do the next day. I followed their suggestions and was blown away. The room is awesome and the location is convenient. I visited as a solo traveler and had a great time here. Thank you!

Nice hotel in a nice location. Swimming pool is great after a long motorbike adventure day.

My stay at Tea Cozy was awesome! Before I arrived, I asked for a recommendation where to go to see the sunset and they pointed me to a very remote and awesome place （incredible sunset）…but very remote and secluded so there were no cabs. No worries! Suzy came to retrieve me for a very reasonable 120¥ considering I was in the middle of nowhere. The location is wonderful and quiet. As long as you know ahead of time where you are going and arrange a car via DiDi or with the front desk you will have no problems (I arranged a 6 AM DiDi no problem). In the afternoon, I had a little trouble getting a car but Richard was heading into town anyways and gave me a free lift! They also taught me how to brew tea the traditional way for free！ Overall, it was a great experience. The room was quiet and amenities were good, it is well positioned along the Yulong river，and the attendants are wonderfully helpful. I would return! Thank you to all of the hotel attendants for a wonderful stay.

We loved this hotel! The hotel grounds were beautiful and so peaceful. All of the hotel staff was so helpful and attentive. Communication was easy through We Chat and Google Translate. The location is great- walking distance to Tianfu Square, People’s Park and the subway station.
