Xianggongshan Heyu Farmstay

The place doesn't seem to be a hotel, instead of more like family home. The owners are very friendly and go beyond helping out. For example help dropping you at a near interesting tour spots, they are definitely with local knowledge. I don't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, especially those whose interest in photography.

This hotel is managed by a local couple. The second floor has been renovated as hotel rooms. They did such a good job renovating the second floor that the level of comfort provided by the rooms surpasses a lot of higher grade hotel rooms. Even the toilets are the fancy smart ones. The wife cooks food for the guests if they order and I would say that she does cook really well. We enjoyed the stay a lot and learned more about the locals after talking to them. The owners are very friendly and accommodating people. Plus the hotel is right by Xiangongshan on the higher grounds so the guests can buy tickets at discount when they visit Xiangongshan by showing the hotel room key.

The owners were very kind and welcoming! We really enjoyed staying in a more rural area to be close to Xianggong mountain. The owners even drove us to the entrance, and you get half price tickets for staying with them. They also drove my husband and I before sunrise to the coffee shop and then made us breakfast! We loved it and would recommend! It’s not a typical hotel but it’s a very unique and memorable experience
