Boxinyunshe Homestay (Yangshuo Yulong River Scenic Area Xiatangzhai)

Overall, the stay was quite good. The guesthouse is centrally located within the Yulong River scenic area, with rice paddies (and coffee-themed photo ops) just 100-200 meters away in either direction, which was very convenient for getting some great pictures. There are also plenty of dining and drinking options within walking distance, completely satisfying our needs. Additionally, renting an electric scooter allowed us to explore many swimming spots along the Yulong River greenway. The view behind our guesthouse room was also lovely, perfect for some beautiful photos. My only minor complaint is that the soundproofing for the upstairs (5th floor) toilet drainage wasn't properly done. The sound of flushing and draining was quite loud in the mornings and evenings, and it woke me up both mornings. I hope the guesthouse owner can address this, as it would greatly improve the experience for future guests!

The room offers a great view, and the hotel's location in the middle of the scenic area makes getting around quite convenient. It's also close to Xiatang Pier. The owner even helped us purchase scenic area tickets, which saved us a lot.

I'll definitely prioritize this hotel for my next trip. It offers great value for money and the location is excellent; there's even a popular photo spot right outside.
