Mengyuan RESOR 360° View Hotel: Starry Pool & Hot Spring, Shili Gallery Yulong River

A heavenly resort! The sunset and starry sky pool were so beautiful I didn't want to leave. I struck gold with this hidden gem of a resort in Yangshuo's Ten-Mile Gallery. If you're traveling as a couple, with your besties, or with family, you absolutely *must* stay at Mengyuan Hotel! The location is truly unbeatable, right in the heart of the Yulong River area. You can rent an e-bike right outside to explore the Ten-Mile Gallery, and it's a short walk to the Shui'erdi bamboo raft pier. West Street and Gongnong Bridge are also very close. If you're driving, there's free parking, so you really don't have to worry about transportation at all. The hotel's aesthetic is absolutely top-notch! The rooftop sky bar and scenic cafe are perfect for snapping atmospheric photos that feel like professional shoots. In the evening, you can watch the 'orange sea' sunset, with the mountains as a backdrop – your unedited photos will be stunning. It has two distinct vibes, day and night, with tons of spots for portrait photography. I especially loved the starry sky pool and forest hot springs! During the day, you can soak in the springs, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the mountain views. At night, the pool, combined with the starry sky, creates an incredibly romantic atmosphere. There's also a scenic waterfall and a huge children's playground, so parents can relax too. The guest rooms are fully smart-controlled; you can operate everything with a single touch from your bed. Plus, there's 24-hour butler service available on demand – every detail is thoughtfully covered. I have to give a special shout-out to the hotel's dining! All ingredients are fresh, cooked on the spot – no pre-made dishes. There's a wide variety of authentic Guibei (Northern Guangxi) cuisine, and it's incredibly good value for money. If you don't feel like going out, you can just order food at the hotel, saving you the hassle of finding a restaurant. The facilities are unbelievably comprehensive: KTV, tea room, mahjong room, book bar, gym, and SPA – they have it all. Whether it's a romantic getaway for couples, a photo-op trip with friends, a family vacation, or a graduation trip, this place fits the bill. It's a one-stop resort experience, no need to move around. The environment is quiet and beautiful, with complete facilities. Special thanks to Xiao Zhang, Xiao Yu, and Xiao Mo for their warm service throughout our stay. They proactively helped with luggage and shared detailed travel tips for Yangshuo. The stargazing infinity pool offers a captivating night view, and being surrounded by mountains and water made for a very pleasant time. Highly recommended!

The room was spacious, and it was clear the owner put a lot of thought into it; the decor materials felt high quality. The children's playground was very new. Overall, it met my expectations, though it still falls short when compared to high-standard hotels. There were some inconveniences in terms of usability, and more attention could be paid to the details. For instance, there were no chairs in the room, which made eating or working very inconvenient. There was no trash can in the bathroom, and the shower caddy was installed at an angle, making it difficult to keep toiletries in place. The small plastic packaging for toiletries was also inconvenient to take out and put back. The rooftop facilities weren't well-maintained; there wasn't a single clean-looking sofa, and the floor wasn't very clean. The breakfast selection was limited, and the taste and temperature retention of the dishes were mediocre. The hotel's location was a bit awkward. Getting out of the intersection with a car was a hassle, and it was quite far from major commercial restaurants, yet it didn't offer the secluded and undisturbed feeling of a retreat.

The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. They even provided two complimentary drinks in the fridge. The butler was incredibly attentive. We arrived around 2 PM that day and ordered dinner. After going out, we simply messaged the butler on our way back, and by the time we returned to the hotel, dinner was already set on the table. It was so relaxing to have dinner right at the hotel, and the chicken in the chicken pot we ordered was very fresh.

The environment and hygiene are excellent! There's a large heated swimming pool right at the entrance, which the kids absolutely loved! The room is simple, stylish, and clean. We had a very comfortable stay! Highly recommend!
