Must Stay Hotel - Yulong River Ecological Park Yangshuo

The surrounding mountain scenery is so relaxing, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the opposite mountains—perfect for city office workers who are tired of looking at concrete buildings. The hosts are very welcoming, and the little courtyard has a lovely vibe. The nearby restaurant 'Xiaotaozi' serves proper meals featuring freshly slaughtered fish and chicken. There's also a small petting zoo where the owner keeps deer and peacocks; the owner is very friendly and lets you feed the deer with leaves. You can see the statue of Third Sister Liu from the Eternal Love (Qianquguan) show. Turn left when you step outside to head to the Eternal Love show and West Street; turn right onto a country lane that leads to the Shili Gallery (Ten-Mile Gallery). This country lane is flanked by rolling mountains on both sides and has very few crowds. Such a pleasant experience!

The rooms were great, and the view was lovely too. We booked three different room types, and all of them were very good. Breakfast was a bit simple, and there was a swimming pool, or rather two pools, even though I didn't get in.

The hotel's decor is absolutely stunning, and it has a pool and floor-to-ceiling windows. The front desk staff, especially one young man, was incredibly helpful. He escorted us all the way to our room. Since it was the off-season, he even offered us a complimentary room upgrade. He showed us two different rooms to choose from. Five stars for him!

An incredibly satisfying stay! The moment we stepped into the room, we felt instantly comfortable. There's a floor-to-ceiling window offering direct views of the lush green mountains, and the room itself is incredibly spacious. We could open all three of our suitcases on the floor without it impeding movement at all! The front desk attendant was also exceptionally thoughtful, helping us resolve many of our questions. Right outside the hotel is a small shop where you can rent electric scooters, making getting around very convenient. The hotel has two swimming pools, and we saw them cleaning and sanitizing them daily. However, one minor point is that the bathroom and toilet doors in my room type didn't have locks, only closing loosely. If this is a concern, you might want to inquire about other room types.

The room was spacious with a fantastic view, and the kids absolutely loved it. Plus, there's a pool downstairs!

If you're heading to Guilin Yangshuo, this guesthouse is definitely the right choice! It's surrounded by stunning karst peaks, offering spectacular views. The interior is elegant, comfortable, and spotless, and the price is incredibly reasonable – amazing value for money! It's especially perfect for families with kids; the two large pools on the ground floor can keep children entertained all day. The owner even gave us a free room upgrade when they saw we had kids, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was healthy and delicious, and they even provide free umbrellas. You can rent electric scooters right outside, making getting around super convenient. The guesthouse is also very close to Yulong River, Ten-Mile Gallery, and Guilin Romance Park.

The room design is excellent, the staff are warm and welcoming, the environment is great for photos, and the pool is very kid-friendly. The hotel also attracts European and American couples, making for a very pleasant stay.
