Yangshuo Xi Shan Resort

The hotel is very beautiful. There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but it was handled very well. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was extremely comfortable. There is a large balcony in the room, and I'd love to stay a couple of days longer next time.

The hotel is nestled in the mountains—quiet yet conveniently located in the bustling area. The rooftop garden offers stunning, highly Instagrammable views, made even more charming by the atmospheric evening lighting. Best of all, parking is extremely convenient right downstairs, and you'll find every conceivable living amenity you might need. Breakfast in the morning offers a wide variety of choices, which won high praise from my family. During the day, you can relax by the hotel pool and take in the picturesque mountain scenery—a truly leisurely and wonderful experience.

An exceptional guesthouse that exceeded expectations! The moment we opened the door, we were genuinely surprised and delighted. The interior design is very stylish. The room type we booked features a private terrace—hanging out with friends on the rooftop at night, stargazing and having late-night snacks, was simply amazing. There were so many stars (see photo 9).

An absolutely wonderful hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The entire hotel was spotless. The mini-bar cokes were complimentary. The swimming pool was very clean and comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience. They even have EV charging spots. A perfect few days of rest. Thank you so much!! Oh, and the photos in the description are all accurate, unlike many other hotels in Yangshuo. Excellent.

The location is perfect, and it's very quiet at night. It's close to West Street, the cycling route along Yulong River, and bamboo rafting. Renting an electric scooter is very comfortable and convenient. The hotel offers scooter rentals for 30 yuan a day. After considering it, renting and returning the scooter at the hotel is the most convenient option compared to renting near West Street. **Facilities and Environment:** The hotel exterior is beautiful. There's a small pool in the courtyard (more suitable for children). In the back, there's a row of small buildings housing a gym and a laundry room. Next to the restaurant, there's a children's play area. All the facilities are new. The room has a high-quality feel with smart home features, and the large balcony with floor-to-ceiling windows is excellent. There's a massage chair (it would be even better if it could massage the legs too) and a bathtub (a bath after a long day is very relaxing). Oh, and there's also a small rooftop garden on the 9th floor, which is a great spot to sit and relax for a bit. **Service:** The front desk staff are all very friendly. On the first day, they even escorted us to our room and explained the facilities. When we rented an electric scooter, they made sure it was cleaned and fully charged. **Hygiene:** The room was cleaned daily, and the in-room beverages (all drinks in the mini-fridge are free) and toiletries were replenished. **Goodnight Dessert:** The red date, goji berry, and tremella soup was very well-made and comforting to have after a night out.

The rooms are beautifully decorated; we stayed in two different room types, both of which were great. When we switched to the second room, there were a few minor issues, but the housekeeper resolved them very quickly, and the service was excellent. The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were also delicious 😋. The games in the kids' room were a lot of fun, including two-player foosball and 'Punch King' (a boxing arcade game), plus there's a gym and a swimming pool.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and welcoming. It was a very comfortable travel experience, and the price was just right since it was the off-season.

The room is very spacious and clean, especially the hot tub on the balcony – it's absolutely amazing! Sipping tea, soaking in the tub, smoking a cigarette, and enjoying the view. What a treat!

After a lot of searching for a place to stay in Yangshuo while driving, we chose Xishan Resort Homestay. We originally planned to stay for one night, but ended up staying there for our entire trip! It's in a quiet location but still close to everything, has parking, and excellent service! The room layout is well-designed, clean, hygienic, and spacious! After a day of exploring, having a massage chair was such a thoughtful touch; details really do make all the difference! This was a very pleasant stay, and we'll definitely be back next time! 🥰
