Yangshuo Riverside Resort Hotel

Staying at the Guangyue Huayuan Hotel in Yangshuo was a fantastic experience. It boasts the longest riverfront, and I loved relaxing on my room's balcony, watching the bamboo rafts float by. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded my room and provided a welcome fruit platter. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a variety of dishes that changed daily. This is a divine hotel that's definitely worth revisiting, especially since it's super convenient for catching the sunset at Gongnong Bridge.

This is a truly reliable resort hotel. Forget about influencer marketing, inflated prices, and trendy industrial-style designs. While other hotels might boast a good location, Guangyuehua occupies the most historically significant spot in Yangshuo's cultural landscape. Firstly, it's built on the original site of Pan Zhuang, a gathering place for top celebrities during the Republic of China era, not a modern, artificially constructed replica of an ancient courtyard. The original site of Guangyuehua's Qing'e ferry crossing was a must-visit spot for influential figures exploring Yangshuo in recent history, officially recognized as the core of Yangshuo's scenic beauty. What's more, it features a large, well-maintained garden with dedicated staff year-round, and a clean, tidy riverside path, free from the distracting clutter of rural vegetable patches that would otherwise spoil the ambiance. Compared to other hotels with large garden landscapes, its value for money is absolutely exceptional. It's safe to say that choosing Guangyuehua for this trip earned unanimous praise from my elders. The room and bathroom amenities are generally excellent, though the toilet is a basic model lacking smart temperature control and washing functions. There's a slight room for improvement in this detail.

Location: Right by the Yu Long River, where all the hotels and guesthouses are situated. Environment: The surroundings are excellent, nestled against the mountains and alongside the river. The air is fresh and clean, perfect for a refreshing stay of a few days. Breakfast: Breakfast was just okay, but it was enough to fill up. Overall, it offers good value for money. If you're not keen on staying in a guesthouse, this place is a good option.

This hotel is absolutely massive, with trees everywhere. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but it's right next to the Yulong River and Gongnong Bridge, so the location is superb. The restaurant food is also quite good, very tasty!

This veteran 5-star hotel truly showcases its prowess. While it's been open for a while, its facilities, service, and location are absolutely top-notch. Plus, the rooms are spacious, all with balconies that offer direct views of the Yulong River. There's also a kids' club and a swimming pool. It's definitely the top choice for families, whether you're traveling with children or not. Highly recommended!

I really picked a great hotel! This riverside hotel, although a bit older, is incredibly well-maintained. The staff are exceptionally well-trained and enthusiastic; they carried our luggage to the room, introducing us to Yangshuo along the way. You can tell they genuinely love their work, with no signs of burnout! The hotel boasts a prime location with hundreds of meters of exclusive riverside access along the Yulong River. Just sitting in the courtyard, dining, enjoying the view, and relaxing is a pure delight! For older guests who can't take the traditional bamboo rafts, there's a convenient pier nearby for 8-person rafts. In summer, there's a pool available, which would make kids happy too. The breakfast is quite substantial, and during our stay, we even saw several foreign tour groups. All in all, I highly recommend it. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Yangshuo! 👍

This hotel is built right along the Yulong River, offering incredibly beautiful surroundings and a stunning private garden! The breakfast is plentiful, and you can enjoy views of the Yulong River while you eat. The hotel also offers electric scooter rentals, perfect for exploring!

Highly, highly recommended! The hotel itself is even more stunning than the attractions. The facilities are top-notch, and they even have a dedicated shuttle service which makes getting around so convenient. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time; you honestly don't even need to leave the hotel to have a great time!
