After spending several days in Guilin city, I finally made it back to Yangshuo! 🌸 My first stop this time was still the enchanting Xingping Ancient Town, which I've been dreaming about! Of course, I had to snap a picture with the 20 RMB banknote backdrop ~ And I even stayed in my dream room at the Yangshuo Banshan Yunshui Hotel (20 RMB Backdrop View)! 🏨 This incredible hotel, which has been open for over a decade, is genuinely trending all over the internet! 🔥 It's been flooding Xiaohongshu! It's right on the Li River, with breathtaking views at every turn! The super romantic garden restaurant is right at the entrance, and I even caught the cacti blooming when I was there! 🌵✨ I was so lucky this time to book a large double room with a bathtub! The round, oversized bathtub in the room was absolutely fantastic ~ And there are huge floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can lie on the tatami bed and enjoy the picturesque landscape of the Li River! 🌊🏔️ The biggest surprise was this! Just a few minutes' walk to the left of the hotel entrance leads you to the 20 RMB banknote backdrop viewing platform, and further to the left, you can explore the charming, ancient Xingping Town ~ You can visit two must-see attractions on foot! 👣 On the morning after check-in, from 8-10 AM, there's an incredibly rich breakfast! 😋 You can eat your fill of Guilin rice noodles, and there's a nine-compartment snack platter, milk, and Luo Han Guo tea – everything! Our stay was an amazing surprise! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right near the scenic spot featured on the 20 RMB note. It’s just a few minutes' walk to the observation deck, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Li River landscape right from the window. The morning mist over the river was simply stunning. The room itself was spotless and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. Our twin room was also very spacious, making for a truly pleasant stay. The front desk staff and butler service were warm and attentive; check-in and check-out were both super efficient. They even proactively recommended local eateries and sightseeing routes, which saved us a lot of hassle.

Booked this hotel for my trip to Yangshuo and it was absolutely amazing! We paid extra to upgrade our room upon arrival, and it was totally worth it. The view from our room was incredible – perfect for taking tons of photos! You definitely have to check out the 'Sky Mirror' on the hotel's rooftop terrace for some great pictures, just remember to take off your shoes! The toiletries provided were also very comprehensive. 👍🏻

Came here with friends after finding this place through online research. It's right in front of the scenery depicted on the 20 RMB banknote – the location is absolutely fantastic! Originally, we booked a twin room, but then we saw their suite and it looked so beautiful; I especially loved the hammock-style bathtub. We paid extra to upgrade, and the check-in experience was superb!! The front desk staff helped us with our luggage and brought up anything we needed. They offer a complimentary breakfast in the morning (●ơ ₃ ơ)♥. And the rooftop! It's perfect for taking photos and checking in 📸 – absolutely stunning. You can get a whole series of landscape shots without even leaving the hotel. I'll definitely recommend it to friends ˵＞ㅿ＜˵

The rooms are clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering unparalleled views of the Li River landscape. The infinity pool and 'Sky Mirror' on the top floor are absolutely stunning – every photo you take here looks professional. The butler service is thoughtful and attentive, and they even offer a pick-up service from the station. The breakfast is rich and delicious, with super authentic Guilin rice noodles. Staying here truly feels like living inside a traditional landscape painting. The experience is perfect, highly recommended!

The hotel offers breakfast and a complimentary shuttle service upon reservation. They also provide local travel tips, and the staff is very welcoming. The room was clean, equipped with a smart toilet, a lighted mirror, and a powerful air conditioner. With the windows closed, there were no mosquitoes. The rooftop offers great photo opportunities. The Li River bamboo raft pier is only a few hundred meters away, and there are many electric scooter rentals nearby. Overall, it was a good stay.

I booked a photoshoot at Liyue Bubble Mountain, so I chose Banshan Yunshui Hotel for its convenient location. It's fantastic, right near the 20 Yuan banknote scenic spot, and I could even see the exact scenery from my room window. It's also very close to Xingping Ancient Town and Xingping Pier, making it super easy to explore the town and take a bamboo raft. The hotel even contacted me a day before to ask if I needed station pick-up/drop-off and added me on WeChat, which made communication incredibly convenient for any needs.

The place is wonderful! We had a yummy breakfast, a king bed, spacious room, bathtub and swimming pool where you can take beautiful pictures. The hotel has view to the 20yuan scenery. It's a little far from the town but renting a bike solved the problem. We felt just like home ! I'll stay here again 100 times

The rooms were spacious, and very thoughtfully arranged, with every small detail carefully considered to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. The service was exceptional throughout my stay. Every staff member was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A very special mention goes to the House Manager, Xiao Yao, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. You can really feel the sincerity and passion for hospitality. The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and healing, perfect for anyone wanting to relax and escape the busy city. The facilities, cleanliness, service quality, and overall experience were all outstanding. It truly feels like a hidden gem in Yangshuo. I would highly recommend Mid Mountain Cloud and Water Hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo. If you are looking for beautiful scenery, comfort, and heartfelt service, this is the place to stay.
