This guesthouse has a fantastic design aesthetic. The moment you walk into the lobby, there's this lovely smell of fresh baking, and there's always fresh, delicious fruit on the table. Our room was very clean and tidy, also with a great design. The makeup remover wipes and facial masks in the bathroom were incredibly useful! A special shout-out goes to the front desk staff and the auntie who prepares breakfast. We had an early train to catch, so we asked if breakfast could be an hour earlier, and everything was perfectly arranged for us the next morning. It was a wonderful travel experience!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The room looked exactly like the photos – minimalist, yet cozy, and every corner was spotlessly clean. The host was wonderful too, sending check-in instructions and local tips in advance, which was incredibly thoughtful. The location is perfect, right next to the Ancient Town station. I'll definitely stay here again next time! The owner also has a farm called 'Dogdan's Farm' – a must-visit!

Very pretty homestay despite being in a more rural town. Very good location as it's right inside xingping ancient town. Car able to access right till the gate of the homestay tho the path in the town looks narrow and can jammed up if it's a peak season. Host is very friendly and helpful. They came out to get our luggages the moment we reached the homestay. The host also provided free oranges and pomelo. Homestay is very well decorated making one feels like staying longer. Rooms are well equipped with hosts ready to provide more sets of amenities if required. Rooms are on the upper floors so some stair climbing is needed. However there is a luggage lift so no need to worry about lifting the luggages up the stairs. Breakfast was homely with the 发糕 being my favourite. I was sick on the trip and the host went the extra way to cook some ginger tea. Will totally recommend for anyone thinking of staying at xingping ancient town

The hotel's location is fantastic! You can walk right out the back door into the ancient town's pedestrian street. A short walk to the left, past the pontoon bridge, takes you to the 20 RMB scenic spot, and a bit further on is where you can take a bamboo raft. The room was very quiet, with lovely views of old rooftops and mountains, and the bed was a good size for staying with a child. The hotel service was the absolute best! They contacted us before arrival to give us tips on what to do, and once we were there, they provided detailed advice on how to avoid queues, especially during peak times. They even gave our child a red envelope during Chinese New Year, which was a delightful surprise! 😊

We loved are stay at the Ron Inn. The location is excellent, just a few steps into the Ancient City. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast is amazing: both the Western and Traditional Chinese breakfasts. The rooms are spacious and so well stocked with water & tea. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. The staff arranged a pick up from the train station in Yangshuo for a small fee.

Another year, another visit to Rongyi! We upgraded to a deluxe double room this time, and the view outside the window was stunning. The room itself was clean and cozy. It was a cold snap during New Year's Day, and the guesthouse thoughtfully prepared a traditional tea-around-the-fire experience, which was so delightful, and the roasted sweet potatoes were incredibly sweet. Sister Yi's beer fish, plum spare ribs, and rice noodle breakfast were all delicious. We even tried the osmanthus wine this time – a lovely, slightly tipsy treat! Seriously, the window view is just breathtaking.

The room is smart and elegant overall, and the bedding is very comfortable. The homestay's style is antique yet well-matched with modern amenities, providing a great experience. The environment is also very quiet, so sleeping at night isn't noisy. Plus, the homestay's breakfast is excellent; it's not a buffet but has a very homely taste. The owners are very warm and thoughtful, always greeting us whether we leave early or come back late. I personally highly recommend it!

Staff super nice, friendly and helpfull, all of them! Hotel pretty new, modern and relaxing vibe! Location is amazing, just in the center but not noisy. Nice rooftop to watch the sunset.

Amazing boutiques hotel. This place had an eye for details and it was a very nice experience to stay here everything was made to make you feel peaceful. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast was probably one of the best I have had. I can recommend the option to pre-order your dinner. The beds were good and the room dark and quiet, perfect for a good nights sleep. The rooftop had a great view and it was so close to the tree canopy that I managed to stop several bird species that I didn’t have on my list.

Difficult to find initially as the front of the hotel is not too clear. The young receptionists were very helpful and gave up some good advice.

Water heater too hot, tried to adjust but failed. some towel provided are torned

We stayed for 6 nights and everything was top. Will recommend to our friends and we will come back. Thanks for everything.

beautiful boutique accommodation right in the centre of xingping ancient town. it's really special with a cute luggage lift. only thing missing is laundry facilities were not usable and there is no iron.
