Yangshuo Lijiang Fuhai Riverside Resort Reviews

This was my first time in Yangshuo, and I stumbled upon this hotel on my way back. I only realized it was in an ancient town – Fuli Ancient Town by the Li River – once I arrived. The hotel's 4th floor offers the best viewing spot, and you can take a bamboo raft right downstairs. They also have free parking and charging stations. The manager was excellent, very enthusiastic, and eager to introduce us to the town's unique features and local culture. We arrived a bit late, so we missed out on the hotel's special activities, but the customer service sister upgraded our room for free, which we really appreciated. The best part was after walking through several empty streets at night, we found a restaurant that was still open! We had delicious Sichuan-style fish (the owner bought the fish fresh!) and stir-fried twice-cooked pork with snow peas. It was a wonderful experience, definitely five stars!

The view from the fourth floor of the hotel is absolutely stunning, second only to the 'A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains' painting. The EV charging stations are super convenient, and there's always security on hand to manage them, so you can almost always get a charge. The hotel environment is lovely, and they even upgraded my room – I've never stayed in such a huge room in my life! And as a final touch, they even gave us a souvenir when we checked out.

The hotel upgraded me to a river-view room with a large balcony, and it was incredibly comfortable! Waking up to the sound of birds and the beautiful漓 River right in front of me was amazing. The service was also excellent, surprisingly good even!

The room and the views are amazing. Liked the big pool but for a nice hotel there were not much extra’s. The restaurant lacks atmosphere and isn’t inviting. The bar looked closed, the gym wasn’t really a gym. For a nice hotel on such a location, rural, they need to provide more services to make it easier to come around. Maybe it’s difficult as I’m traveling with 3 kids.

We spend our holidays in different hotels every year, and this hotel is where we want to return more than once. The first is the cleanliness and order that immediately catches your eye, the second is the sooo friendly and attentive people who work at this hotel, I want to express my gratitude to all the staff. They are very attentive to each guest, they always try to hear all the requests of the guests and help them make them a reality. Thanks to the guys from the reception, very attentive, positive guys who know their business. As for the food, everything is very tasty, the chefs are just magicians. Everything is just gorgeous. I advise everyone! I advise you from the bottom of my heart👍 the rooms are gorgeous, air conditioning + cleanliness + comfort. Thank you all so much for this vacation! Really beautiful place, the room was so spacious, clean and neat! We had a bad experience just before this booking and we really really hoped to find something at least clean and ok, but we arrived in a place that was absolutely over our expectations! Also the pool, the view!!! Absolutely recommend!

The hotel is situated in a town, 福利镇 that's a further distance from central Yangshuo but truly a class of its own. The service is impeccable (already been corresponding with them via Wechat to make arrangements, they could also help to book attraction tickets), the views are amazing, it's as if the hotel is built within a big garden. The room is huge and comfy! With a full floor to ceiling sliding door, one gets a lovely view of the hills. Falling asleep to a view like this and waking up to a view like this, this is the kind of place you want to spend a weekend away from the city buzz and do nothing but laze in bed feeling pampered. I had a twin room but each bed is a queen size and good for 4 pax to share. The room rate also included several items such as two-way transport (to and fro West Street or other locations within the city), two-way boat ride, a 1 hr photoshoot (outsourced function, advance appointment required), a local Afternoon Tea, daily breakfast and a traditional fan-drawing experience. The bathroom is huge, with a bathtub, a separate standing shower and toilet. All amenities are provided including a coffee machine. I like that the bed is firm and pillow gives great support, best pillow so far! I also like that the wardrobe is an open concept. The only area of improvement is probably the security, anyone is able to take the lift to the rooms directly. The breakfast is simple but interesting that they offer you to create your own Guilin Mifen, a local noodle specialty.

The hotel environment is great. We booked a family room, and the room was incredibly spacious, complete with a small tent and a slide. Compared to West Street, it's much quieter here. You can even capture the sunset from the rooftop in the afternoon – it's truly beautiful!! Highly recommended.

The hotel is a bit far from the main attractions in Yangshuo, requiring a drive along a stone-paved road to reach it. First, the positives: the hotel service was excellent, meeting five-star hotel standards, and there were four free charging stations. Now, the shortcomings: 1. While the rooms were large, some facilities were poor. For example, some mattresses were sagging and lacked elasticity; the toilets were basic, unbranded, and no different from typical guesthouses; the terrace was unclean, with cobwebs everywhere. 2. The hotel restaurant was overpriced and the food was mediocre. A bottle of Coke that cost 3 yuan was sold for 10 yuan. Breakfast was served until 10:30, but due to the increased number of diners during the National Day holiday, there was no food left by 9:30. 3. This is a complaint about Ctrip. As a loyal Ctrip user, I always choose Ctrip for both business and leisure travel, but this experience was poor. The hotel rating was too high, yet the price was several hundred yuan more expensive than other platforms. If Ctrip cannot improve its quality control, it will definitely lose users.

I have to give this a six-star review! The hotel environment is great, the staff are highly professional, and the facilities are comprehensive. It's a top choice for family trips. The hotel is located in Fuli Ancient Town, where you can find many intangible cultural heritage crafts, such as fan making. The hotel is close to the pier, making it convenient for bamboo rafting on the Li River. You can also stroll along the riverbank and enjoy water activities like wading through the stream. The hotel has a swimming pool on the fourth floor with stunning mountain views. Enjoying tea and chatting on the fourth-floor terrace in the evening is truly delightful.

The upstairs observation deck and swimming pool are amazing! Especially at night, swimming while enjoying the beautiful scenery is so nice! Kids have a blast, there's also a ball pit and a slide! For those driving electric cars, there's free charging available…

Yangshuo not only has Xingping Ancient Town, but also Fuli Ancient Town. Advantages: It is quiet and beautiful here, avoiding crowded tourist areas, and the hotel is next to the pier. The room area is large enough to run. The room style is simple and plain, gorgeous, with an area of about 90 square meters and two 1.8-meter beds. The latex mattress is very comfortable. The shower and toilet are separated into dry and wet areas, the bathtub is advanced, and there is also a super large balcony, which enjoys the 500-meter Lijiang River landscape. The hotel has complete facilities, with a wave pool that children like on the roof, a beautiful double swimming pool, mountain bikes, a gym, a restaurant, and a complete range of food, drink and entertainment.
