Guilin Yangshuo Jora Hotel

Nestled in a peaceful village, this hotel offers a wonderfully quiet and serene environment, far from the hustle and bustle of city life, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The Li River is just a few minutes' walk away, so you're surrounded by stunning mountain and river views right outside your door. The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic and flavorful local specialties. The design is simple yet stylish, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. It's truly a top choice for a vacation.

The mountain view room had fresh air and a beautiful view. The beds were lovely, very soft and comfortable. The butler service was also very attentive. Every time we returned from sightseeing, the room was always neatly cleaned. The afternoon tea was also a pleasant surprise. A special shout-out to the art teacher who taught my child traditional Chinese painting; each stroke was just wonderful.

I came to Guilin Yangshuo for my birthday, and this secluded, niche hotel felt like I was living inside a traditional landscape painting. It's not trying too hard to be an Instagram-famous spot; instead, it has that relaxed vibe of integrating the mountains into everyday life, slowing down even my breathing 🍃. The natural wood and white walls are clean and simple, but it's the karst peaks outside the window that truly shine. Open the window, and you're met with a flowing ink wash painting. The rooftop moon-gazing platform offers stunning sunset views, making all of Yangshuo feel gentle. In the backyard, black swans leisurely glide in the pond, and when the mist machine in the bamboo forest turns on, it's absolutely magical – every photo you take looks like a high-quality shot 📸. The afternoon tea desserts are beautiful and not overly sweet, with mountains as your backdrop, and the coffee is also excellent ☕️. The room's balcony **offers breathtaking mountain and water views ⛰️. The bedding and amenities in the room are top-notch 🔝. There are welcome fruits, and snacks and drinks are complimentary! The attention to detail is superb 🥰. They not only provided face masks but even considered feminine hygiene needs! They also prepared a birthday cake for me on my birthday 🎂 – I was very touched ❤️. The dinner was divine! The beer fish was tender and boneless, and the oily tea chicken was incredibly fragrant, all made to order. The chef is Michelin-level; the seasoning isn't heavy, perfectly capturing the local flavors. Breakfast is semi-buffet, with freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles paired with their exclusive sour bamboo shoots – I couldn't stop eating 🍜. The biggest surprise was getting to interact with the animals! 🐰 The rabbits are soft and you can pet them freely, and 🦜 parrots will fly onto your shoulder. Kids didn't want to leave, and adults felt incredibly soothed ~. The butler service was attentive and detail-oriented – this is truly what a vacation should be like ✨.

With a limited number of rooms, the service is exceptionally attentive, making this a boutique hotel well worth staying at.

The hotel room facilities are quite comfortable and luxurious, exceeding my expectations. The bed, in particular, is very conducive to deep sleep; I usually have trouble sleeping, but this was the first time I slept straight through the night at a hotel. The hygiene is excellent, and the hotel environment is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, making it very convenient. The service from the hotel butler was very attentive and thorough.

We were on a road trip and decided to stay a night in Yangshuo. I honestly didn't expect to book a hotel with such comprehensive facilities. Everything was well-thought-out, from the late-night snacks to breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with lots of luggage and even giving us a tour of the hotel's different areas. I'll definitely be looking for an opportunity to stay here again!

I absolutely adored the little animals at the hotel! I originally booked the Banyan Tree, but I really didn't like its decor style, so I spontaneously switched to Jiu Rang, and it was a HUGE, huge surprise!!! I feel like the service is in the style of a Japanese hotel – polite, accommodating, but still giving guests a certain sense of privacy and space, which is so important. I haven't stayed in a more satisfying hotel at a similar price point in China. I only stayed in Yangshuo for a short time, just five nights at Jiu Rang, but I could feel their utmost effort to make guests comfortable. I think only small-scale hotels (with fewer rooms) can achieve this level of service. First, the fresh flowers. I didn't pay much attention to the flowers for the first three days, and when I finally noticed them, they were a bit wilted. After I mentioned it to the butler, they sent over a big bouquet of fresh flowers (P3). And here's something detail-oriented people will definitely love! For the afternoon tea, I usually left the strawberry leaves aside. The second time I had afternoon tea, the strawberry leaves had already been removed (P2)! You can tell they pay attention and improve! Also, the mini-bar and snacks are replenished daily. I only drank two fruit drinks from the mini-bar, and when they restocked, they replaced the flavors I had finished and added new ones. Kudos to the housekeeping auntie! Ordering takeout was a little inconvenient; some restaurants didn't deliver, and those that did would leave it at the hotel entrance. Luckily, the butler would help bring it to my room door. The cleanliness was absolutely superb. They never touched any of my belongings (the previous luxury brand hotel I stayed at would fold my clothes, which I found quite intrusive… this place didn't do that). The last picture shows the view from the room – there's a heart-shaped mountain, haha, though it wasn't very clear due to the fog. You can usually spot it though. I think it's perfect for people who value privacy and quiet. In short, if I ever come back to Yangshuo, I will only choose this hotel☺️💕
