Huanghai Hotel (No.2 Bathing Beach‑Fisherman's Wharf Branch)

The Huanghai Hotel has an excellent location, right by the sea as soon as you step out. It's lovely to take a walk along the beach. A tall young man at the front desk was very enthusiastic. Overall, it was a great experience.

This was the most satisfying hotel of our trip to Yantai. The hotel entrance opens up directly across from the ocean and coastal boardwalk, making the location absolutely superb. The overall garden design of the hotel is excellent, creating a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect for families with children and elderly guests. The front desk service was also very warm and accommodating; they checked us in early, around 11 AM, and even upgraded our room. Both the swimming pool and fitness center are available and equipped with very new facilities. It was an excellent stay experience overall.

The facilities are new and great. It's right by the sea. I was traveling with a baby, so I contacted the hotel in advance with some requests. They arranged everything early and even called me to confirm. The cleanliness was also excellent.

When visiting Yantai, I chose Indigo, Huanghai Hotel, and the Bayrena Hotel for some fun. The room layout at Huanghai Hotel is fantastic, spacious and bright. I upgraded to a terrace room, and the large balcony was really refreshing, though it was a shame the weather was too hot to enjoy coffee or tea out there. Next time I'm in the city, I'll probably still pick Huanghai Hotel; the service and facilities are excellent.

Honestly, when I was planning my trip to Yantai, this hotel immediately caught my eye. After looking at several options, I still chose the Huanghai Hotel, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The hotel facilities are new, the environment is great, and the soundproofing is also good. The front desk staff, both men and women, provided very thoughtful and warm service. The hotel is right by the sea, close to Fisherman's Wharf and the Second Bathing Beach, making it super convenient for beachcombing. It was a very satisfying stay! I'm just not much of a photographer, so I don't have many pictures, but it looks pretty much like the promotional photos.

This garden hotel is composed of several small buildings. While not sprawling, it utilizes Suzhou garden design to create a sense of depth and an overall elegant atmosphere. The underground parking garage is spacious, bright, and gives off a high-end vibe. However, the first floor of each building is small and lacks proper seating areas, and there aren't many outdoor facilities either. The service is formally polite, likely a result of training for business receptions.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and clean rooms, which gave me peace of mind when traveling with my elderly parents and children. The staff at the swimming pool were very welcoming, and my kids loved how the hotel's koi fish weren't afraid of people. It's conveniently located near all the attractions, right by the sea. We booked a sea-view room and could even catch the sunrise, though unfortunately, it was cloudy so we missed out on a more spectacular one. Overall, it was a great stay.

The hotel's exterior environment is lovely, with beautiful garden landscaping, and it's right across the road from the sea. However, the interior of the rooms could use some improvement; the five-star pricing doesn't quite match the quality.

Our Yantai trip was a delightful surprise! The seafood here is incredibly delicious, and I was really happy with the hotel. The moment we walked in, I knew we'd made the right choice. The afternoon tea was also amazing – not expensive at all, but the quality was top-notch. So glad we got to experience it. The front desk staff was very polite, and Manager Xiao Wang even upgraded our room. We'll definitely come back to Yantai when we have the chance!
