Holiday Inn Express Yantai Penglai by IHG

The hotel was very generous; they even provided a complimentary breakfast for our 11-year-old child who was over 1.4 meters tall. After checking in, one of the bathrooms had a strong drain odor. We reported it to the front desk, and despite the hotel being fully booked, they upgraded us to the most beautiful sea view suite! I really believe this hotel provides the best service whenever objectively possible – highly recommended! Given it was peak tourist season, there were occasional delays in cleaning and replenishments, but they were very responsive once we brought it to their attention. Excellent! The picture is a night view taken from the balcony of our 6th-floor suite!

The environment here is great, and it's very close to the beach and attractions. They have their own parking lot, which is really convenient. It's especially comfortable to come here with kids; the beach is just a short walk away, and my children had a blast.

The hotel's location is excellent, close to several main attractions within walking distance. The cleanliness is also good, and the rooms are well-equipped with great service. Parking is convenient, and it offers great value for money.

Traveling to Penglai with a friend, and our stay was a five-star experience! The hotel is conveniently located right by the sea. The room was clean and tidy, and they even offered both firm and soft pillows, ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful, featuring freshly ground coffee beans like those at Luckin Coffee and special double-yolk eggs. During the hot summer, the hotel lobby provided free cold drinks for guests. There were also complimentary laundry facilities and a gym on the second floor. The staff were warm and attentive. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Penglai.

This was my first time staying in a hotel with a super large 2.7-meter bed – big enough for a family of five! The kids absolutely loved it. The hotel is very smart and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly, even thoughtfully providing us with free breakfast. The breakfast spread was extensive and the environment was lovely. Right outside the hotel is the beach, where the kids played in the sand every day. The sand was so fine and soft, and it wasn't crowded. It's also very close to Penglai Pavilion, the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, and Three Immortals Mountain. Dining and exploring the night market nearby were also very convenient. This was our last stop on the Jiaodong Peninsula, and it left us with the best memories! Next time we travel, Holiday Inn Express will definitely be our top choice.

Fantastic experience! Milk was incredibly helpful and promptly showed us to our room upstairs. The hotel is very close to the sea, and our room had an excellent view; we could see the ocean as soon as we opened the balcony door. The breakfast was also delicious and very good.

Great location, close to several attractions and right on the beach. There are plenty of activities, and the service is very attentive and friendly. Breakfast is excellent, and the laundry room is very practical. Penglai Bathing Beach is just a stone's throw away. The room is large, comfortable, and very functional, and being newly built, there's no unpleasant smell.

This hotel's location is truly fantastic. It's right by the sea, and we had endless fun taking the kids to the beach. When they were tired, it was just a 3-minute walk back. The foot-washing station at the hotel entrance was a really thoughtful touch. The breakfast was also excellent, definitely one of the best we've had in a while. The kids were captivated by the candy wall! Plus, the free coffee and drinks in the lobby were a nice bonus. The room was very clean, and there was hardly any new hotel smell. Everything was superb, full marks!

The hotel is very comfortable and the location is fantastic! 👍🏻 The room was great, and we could see the sea from the balcony. The milk and double-yolk eggs at the restaurant were delicious, and the sausage was excellent too. My child loved it. They even gave us a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch.
