Manting Hotel (Yantai Penglai Pavilion)

The hotel's location is great, not far from Penglai Pavilion and the Eight Immortals Cross the Sea scenic area, and just a short walk to the beach. There are plenty of shared bikes right outside, a restaurant across the street, and a supermarket nearby. There's even a billiard table in the lobby for guests to enjoy. The only downside is that they only provide disposable slippers, and regular ones aren't available.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the snack street, the beach, and tourist attractions.

The Yantai Penglaige Manting Hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk to the seaside, and within walking distance to Penglai Pavilion and the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Scenic Area. Having a car park right at the hotel entrance was incredibly convenient for us as self-drivers! The ground floor of the hotel has a unique design, and the front desk staff were very welcoming, recommending the Eight Bowls restaurant next door where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. While the free breakfast wasn't overly lavish, it was certainly tasty. Our room was particularly spacious and bright, clean and refreshing, and we could see the views from the window – a truly great experience. All in all, this trip was relaxing and enjoyable.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to three major attractions. The room was quite spacious, and there's parking right in front, which is convenient for those driving. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, provided great service.

The self-service laundry only has one washer and one dryer, which makes waiting inconvenient. Plus, they're placed right outside the restroom, which is quite unseemly – I don't know what the designer was thinking. When I put my clothes in the washing machine, a swarm of mosquitoes flew out... The breakfast selection was just okay, and at 7 AM when it opened, the chef wasn't ready yet. Since I was in a hurry, I just grabbed a couple of bites and left.

The hotel's location is indeed excellent, with the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea scenic area and Penglai Pavilion both within sight. However, as other reviews mentioned, saying it's within 'walking distance' might be a bit of an exaggeration! The hotel's facilities are average. If it weren't for this prime location, its price wouldn't even compare to a Home Inn. It's a notch below chains like Ji Hotel or Lavande in terms of both soft and hard furnishings.

Facilities: Clean and tidy. Hygiene: Pretty good. Environment: Elegant and clean. The surrounding transportation is quite convenient, close to popular attractions, and dining is also easy. Service: The service is excellent, pretty much nothing to complain about. It was a good experience.
