The Golden Gulf Hotel Yantai looks old from the outside but the interior is nicely furnished with modern technology. They use robots to send guest needs, they had heated toilet seats for the winter used. Among the 4 hotels I stayed at on this trip they are the only ones that provide heated toilet seats. That is their facility that impressed me. If they are not considered a local 5 Star hotel, they definitely have a 6 Star service. Service from the front office staff, to the operator from the call center and the host at the restaurant were excellent. They definitely left a very good impression on me as a guest of the hotel. Special thanks to Serene and Jenny at the front office for the excellent service provided during my stay. Will surely come back to stay here again when I visit Yantai in future.

It was our first visit to Yantai. The room, located at high floor with a full ocean view, really made our stay in the hotel a perfect choice. The hotel staff are friendly and always available to help. The best part was on our arrival on 20May, our room was beautifully decorated (see photo). Many thankd to Manager Ms Serena for making such great efforts in welcoming us. This hotel gave us a perfect stay. Will be back.

Rooms are great... see view is nice on the bay... must be amazing from the rooms with balconary in summer.... Thans a lot to SERENA for the nice welcome and friendly service... hotel is at a dead end of the roads, so very quiet and silent at night. 300m from famous bar street and light house park. we will come back in week end

This hotel is amazing, and I mean it! The location is perfect for everything: there are major sites, the sea, the beach. It was the best sea view you could hope for! Both the buffet and a la carte are delicious and affordable (and with the view as well). Special thanks goes to the staff and the cervice. Everyone was super helpful, attentive, polite and professional. Serena at the front desk answered every possible question and assisted with everything! The room has all the facilities you could wish for and lots of complimentary water and fruits. I will definitely come again and recommend it to friends.

I would highly recommend the hotel as the perfect location, cleanliness & services. Greeting fruits & Yogurt make your feel you are so welcomed. Every single staff you come across would greet you at any time. It’s very close to the scenic area of Mount Yantai, A lot of varieties for the breakfast.
