Penglai Sanqiu Seaside B&B (Penglai Pavilion Bathing Beach)

Convenient location, lots of restaurants, shops, and the Embankment nearby. Overall, the room was decent, but it was clearly used frequently. On the downside, the room smelled like meat or something, a lingering odor. Sometimes it smelled like cigarette smoke. Otherwise, it had everything you need.

The balcony/veranda is full of dust. You can't even set foot on it, so I don't understand why it's listed as a reservation option. It smells bad, and the cleanliness is poor.

Disadvantages 1. The building itself reeks of formaldehyde and asbestos. The room is clean, but upon entering, I get a headache and feel nauseous. The smell does not go away even after ventilating for 6 hours. 2. There is no heating, and even the air conditioner does not provide warmth, so it is too cold to sleep.

The boss is very nice, the service is warm and thoughtful, the house is very spacious, the pictures match the real thing, the supporting facilities are complete, you can cook and eat by yourself, it is very convenient, the whole street downstairs is full of restaurants, and you can walk downstairs to the beach in three to five minutes. The location is excellent, I plan to stay for a month next time, Penglai's noodles are also super delicious (๑´ڡ`๑)

I liked the room. The owner was also friendly. * However, if you do not have a WeChat account or a Chinese phone number, you should not make a reservation. This is because they send you the check-in instructions via WeChat after you book. If you can make a phone call, you can just call the WeChat number, but... I was extremely anxious. *** Also, absolutely do not use the seafood shops located under the accommodation building. Or, ask for the exact price and confirm it in advance before eating. The seafood is incredibly expensive, and they don't cook it well. If possible, I recommend eating somewhere else rather than the seafood shops under the accommodation. I didn't check the price (my mistake) and just ordered, and when I paid later (my estimated price * 10) -> total disaster. (T_T) I deducted 1 point for each seafood shop under the accommodation. They were incredibly noisy because they were soliciting customers. Haha, it was the first time I've seen someone holding a microphone and soliciting customers in a restaurant.

Facilities: The balcony was narrow and dusty. Cleanliness: Good; the sheets and duvet covers were just changed. Environment: Its proximity to the elevator is inconvenient. Service: So-so. There was no bottled water in the room; I woke up thirsty in the middle of the night 😂
