"Beautiful hotel in picturesque setting. We wanted a romantic getaway and Crathorne didn’t disappoint. An elegant hotel with friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. We stayed in the Ormesby room which was exceptional and had a fantastic view of the gardens. Breakfast was delicious and catered for every need. A romantic drink in the bar before bed next to a roaring fire was just bliss. Would highly recommend Crathorne to anyone looking for a perfect peaceful break."

Yarm View Guest House and Cottages

"There are 2 review sites for this guest house. On the other site I found an experience in 2022 similar to my own. Booked at short notice, told there were no rooms and we were being ‘upgraded’ to a cottage which was in a very poor state of repair. Fire and cooker didn’t work, sockets hanging off the wall mould in the bathroom. Also we had to pay in cash and cancel our booking presumably to avoid booking fees. This was a dreadful experience"

"I stayed here for work. Firstly the owner Jim couldn't do enough to help. Anything I needed he was quick to sort out. Location is great with food in the pub below or 5mins down the road you are in yarm where you have to much to choose from. Shower was hot and powerful, room was clean and it was quite. Price was excellent for what you get. I would definitely stay here again."
