"We really enjoyed our stay, the location is ideal and the grounds were beautiful and quiet! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional! The only downside was that our room had only one plug socket that we could use.....just not enough these days, even just for basic needs..... very poor unfortuneatly. Air conditioning would have been welcomed, we would therefore definitely avoid this Hotel in summer months for this reason alone. One other small irritant, our bathroom had a glass shelf above the sink which tilited heavily towards the sink, so we had to be very careful to ensure things didn't keep falling over. Our breakfasts were excellent (apart from the Omelettes), and the service staff were very welcoming....a great start to any day!"

"There are 2 review sites for this guest house. On the other site I found an experience in 2022 similar to my own. Booked at short notice, told there were no rooms and we were being ‘upgraded’ to a cottage which was in a very poor state of repair. Fire and cooker didn’t work, sockets hanging off the wall mould in the bathroom. Also we had to pay in cash and cancel our booking presumably to avoid booking fees. This was a dreadful experience"

"Booked two rooms for a family trip at one time. The hotel is in a very good location, near the city center, and it is very convenient to eat and shop around. Although the room is not particularly large, it is very clean and tidy, and the layout is reasonable. The bed is very comfortable, the pillows and quilts are very soft, and the sleep is very solid. The bathroom is very clean, the water pressure is just right, and the bathing experience is very good. The breakfast is very rich, with hot and cold food, a variety of varieties, and the taste is also very good, especially the fried eggs and sausages, which are very satisfying. The staff has a very good attitude, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, and it makes people feel very warm. The check-in and check-out process is very smooth and there is no trouble. Overall, this hotel is worth the money, especially for short stays or business trips, and I will come again next time if I have the opportunity."
