The food at the inn was not particularly sophisticated. However, the service from the female staff who worked there was good. It was by no means refined. The bath was good. The room we stayed in was 6 tatami mats, but for an Osaka local, it's not too big for two people. The bath was even bigger and very good. The hot spring is weakly alkaline, but it leaves your skin feeling smooth after the bath. We had a kaiseki meal in our room, which was very filling and very satisfying.
