It also has a queen murphy bed which can be folded up during the day to create more room. This room has a unique space that we have converted into a children’s play area. We have a tent and a number of other items, including a 14 game PacMan game set. This will keep the children entertained for hours. In addition to the 3 king beds and 4 queen beds, we have a high-quality blow-up mattress allowing the home to sleep 16. Patio/OutdoorsThe living space opens to a huge, covered patio that extends the entire length of the house. We have installed a new 7-person hot tub on the north end of the patio. There are many different options for seating on the patio, including a conversation seating area and a table and chairs to enjoy an outdoor meal, or card game. We have a foosball table, cornhole and a grill for your entertaining pleasure. Security Camera:This property has a front doorbell security camera, garage camera, and exterior perimeter camera. There is a noise monitor in the backyard. These devices are always active.The home features a 3-car garage with a universal charging port for electric cars. The wrap around drive and spacious driveway allows parking for multiple vehicles, or even an RV. The entire house is supported by the most reliable and fast wi-fi available – StarLink. We have a 3-unit Eero Mesh System to extend the wi-fi throughout the house. In addition, we installed a network extender to enhance cellular service in the area. Beautiful location in the last remaining homestead still undeveloped in Sedona. The views from property are stunning. There is no living room but a cute breakfast nook that you can sit and play cards or use your computer. Or just enjoy a home cooked meal. There is a comfy chair to relax in.We keep cupboards stocked with typical kitchen stuff. Salt pepper, sugar,creamer.The WiFi is usually great, sometimes in inclement weather we get outages and the cell service can be iffy if your not on Verizon. ATT is really bad!The TV is. 48” flat screen, connected to Direct TV. TiVo if you want to record your favorite game to watch later. We have Netflix and Prime TV too!The patio boasts a beautiful vantage point of Cathedral Rock the most photographed rock in Arizona. It’s very pleasant just to relax outside and enjoy the beautiful view of Cathedral Rock either from the patio of from our hot tub.The property is peaceful and private and a great spot to sit during the morning sunrise or evening sunset.In this courtyard you have a hot tub that is shared with the adjacent room on the property, but far enough away not to disturb. Visiting this part of town is at the top of every tourist guide and local recommendation. Even still, it typically has less crowds and fewer people than the other areas of Sedona. If you think of Sedona as an upside Y with the arms leading away towards Cottonwood and the Village of Oak Creek and the stem leading towards Flagstaff, we are in the middle of the two arms beside some of Sedona's most iconic landmarks. The 89A leads from Cottonwood through Sedona to Flagstaff (and beyond) and we are just south of the highway in the heart of red rock country.Just 10 minutes from town and 5 minutes off the highway on the Red Rock Loop Scenic Drive, it's amazing how transformative our neck of the woods is. Peaceful and serene, this neighborhood makes you feel like you're away from it all, without actually having to be. Villa Vortex is located just off of the world-famous Red Rock Loop. The road winds through iconic landmarks and spectacular scenery. We end up taking a photo of the views at least every-other-time we drive home (truthfully, it never gets old!). Our property is on a quiet, private road. You will have to drive about 100 feet down compacted dirt to make it to our paved driveway (our Prius and our neighbor's Prius make it no problem). Speaking of neighbors, we do have a few, though we often forget when in the privacy of our estate. We have a couple families nearby and occasionally you will see the young kids playing in their yards when coming to and from the house. One of our neighbors also has horses which we occasionally hear "neigh" in the distance. There are several SPECTACULAR hikes, swimming holes and parks near the house. Red Rock State Park is ideal for casual strolls and hiking while Crescent Moon State Park has the most amazing swimming holes and our favorite vortex in Sedona. Both are within biking distance from the house! There are many, many more trails, attractions and vistas along Red Rock Loop (and we have a list if you're interested!). Sedona is an International Dark Sky community, which means we are required to limit outdoor lighting. We do have some lighting near the front door, on our driveway, and in our patio and pool, but it is minimal. As a result, it can be tricky to see outside at night, but the stargazing is unparalleled! It is truly spectacular to spot shooting stars over the silhouette of Cathedral Rock from our balcony!Getting around:To get around Sedona you will need a car (or you will need to be a very avid cycler!). We are on the northern end of Sedona and you can easily drive to a plethora of stunning hikes, walks, parks and swimming holes in just five minutes.
