Fantastic hotel and facilities very poor service. Firstly on arrive reception staff were amazing, helpful and very professional, we booked an all inclusive break for 4 nights, we are 2 nights in. We went to the main restaurant last night, all the empty tables were uncleaned and we had to find someone to clean them, food is OK, very few staff smile. In the lobby coffee area now and we had to wait 35 mins to get a drink after ordering twice with no success, my wife went to the bar to order and that took 5 mins to arrive after made as they would not let her take them, they had to be delivered to the table so cold coffee’s. This is not a one off it is a constant over the last 2 days only Mia pool bar had a good service. I Will write another review after our stay but so annoyed I had to post this review now.

Wonderful facilities, spacious, great beach and pool. Skyline bar very expensive. Definitely not a Seven star experience as sold A wonderful choice of food..pastries and sweets wonderful, but main courses a little bland and underwhelming..maybe four star at best...that's being a little generous. Indoor smoking at breakfast and dinner a huge put off...talk about trapped in the 1980s....smoking areas by all means but not indoors with food. Plenty of noisy and dusty building work going on and early too. Management cool and aloof, customer service weak. Waiters ok but poorly trained and very few knew what water or aqua was..bizarre. Great holiday...but a one off....Lords palace again next year.

A well planned resort marred by the abundance of nearby building sites. Maybe in a few years when the constructions are complete it could be 5 star.

We were looking forward to this trip, as we often hold conferences in Cyprus and were looking for a new hotel to try. This hotel was subpar in almost every category. When we first arrived, there was nobody available to take our luggage to reception. Instead, we had to wheel it up a ramp ourselves, past the valet (who left all the keys for the cars on a small table which anybody could have taken) to reception. Although the reception area is impressive, it was less so because of the very obviously fake blue flowers littering the area. We were given bands to wear (we are not at a party resort and I feel that something a little bit more sophisticated was warranted). The employee who tied my band did it too tight and I was unable to remove it for the duration of my stay. We were unfortunately put in the residences building, which is tired and in a lot of ways, incomplete. The furnishing is shoddy, the rooms are bare and the fixtures were wonky or cheap. If these residences are supposed to mimic the grandeur of the hotel, then sadly it fell very short. I have stayed in Premier Inns which were more homely. We could have forgiven these issues but the main problems in the hotel stemmed from the poor service. Hardly anybody spoke English, seemed unhappy or too busy chatting amongst themselves to offer good service. Two members of our team were approached by a staff member who made them a drink and then asked them to write a positive review mentioning them by name. When I looked through the reviews, I've noted that a lot of the reviews do seem to mention staff members by name, so this seems to be a common tactic. One example of poor service out of many: we ran out of shower gel in our bathroom, which was not replenished. We asked for a top-up, and were given more body lotion. Flagged this with the reception and... were given more body lotion. At this point, we gave up and bought ourselves shower gel from a local pharmacy instead. The food for a resort of this size seriously falls short. We tried all the options and the buffet was like feeding time at the zoo. Not enough options and everyone queuing to grab whatever they could. I have stayed in smaller hotels in Cyprus that have offered much better food options. It felt as though the hotel was attempting to squeeze out as much profit as possible. Lastly... the beach. There is obviously no direct access to a beach, so you are reliant on a buggy to take you there and back. The beach is under the purview of another hotel (Pera). We would often have to wait for a while for a buggy to take us there or back. On one of our trips back from the beach, we were followed by a Pera security guard who made sure we deposited our towels and then practically followed us to the exit (we had to go through the restaurant with nothing to cover us as the main entrance/exit was closed). In essence, it feels as though the management at this hotel have a hands-off approach. Nobody was ever seen directing the staff or checkin

Absolutely had the best time with my family. Fully equipped very clean rooms and resort. Delicious and a wide range of food and drink options available every hour of the day. Friendly staff. Lots of activities for kids. Fun fair, game room and cinema available. Live music different entertainment every night. Great big clean pool area. Pera makenzi beach and pool area also amazing. Will be visiting again very soon.
