A very nice hotel with spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff. We arrived earlier, but got to the rooms as soon as they were cleaned. Good breakfast with a nice seaview. The rooms are cleaned every day. Perfect location. Really recommend it.

I called to get information but the only thing we didn't do was get beaten. It seemed wrong to me that staff who had communication problems and didn't understand Turkish would answer the phone. It would have been better if staff with good public relations answered the phone. I don't recommend it.

I was in a terrible hotel (Erdem Pansiyon) that was disgustingly dirty and had to move out as soon as I arrived late at night. Even though it was almost 2 a.m., Şimal Hotel let me book a room right away at the last minute and it was amazing. Extremely clean and cleaned every day, great shower and overall nice room, air conditioning and courteous staff. There were no problems and I highly recommend it! Even though it was a little out of my low budget price range, it was worth it and still cheaper than other hotels. They even let me leave my backpack at the reception for a few hours after checking out. I am very grateful to the hotel for helping me get out of a bad situation and for the high quality accommodation. If you are coming to Rize you should stay here! :)
