Hotel Shevaroys

Hotel Shevaroys is an old famous hotel located in the centre of Yercaud close to the city bus stand and Lake. The place occupies a large space with separate buildings for Luxury Villas, Deluxe Villas, Rose, ***lia, Orchid Rooms and Reception. The Rooms especially at the Villas are spacious, comfortable with basic amenities and bathrooms; though WiFi in the Rooms is not adequate. The Complex is dominated by various types of trees and plants and has picturesque natural surroundings. Their staff are efficient, courteous, helpful and take great care of their guests. As they ***age a College of Hospitality ***agement, the students also work at the Reception, Restaurants and hospitality. They have the Restaurant Red Dragon serving Chinese cuisine, Bear Cave for Bar and Silver Oaks for multi-cuisine and the complimentary breakfast. Would love going there again.

Shevaroys...Aug22 with Family.....A vast hotel....with a plethora of room choices...all the rooms or complexes are named after Flowers...Ours was an orchid. Not a wow place..a simple stay. The rooms are big with low floor beds ...on King size bed can easily accommodate 3 adults....The centre portion of orchid complex wud have been better if they had some water flowing etc...it would have added to the natural feel. Lot of Parking space in and around...so no problems on that front...Check in and check out can be made more smoother , staff needs to be more genuinely interested to help customers ( maybe they are understaffed ). Bfast was normal one and nothing out of the world. No other food options available nearby. There is also a supermarket in the complex in case you want to get something....Overall a good positive feel

Don't book at this resort if you want to have a good holiday without hassles. I had booked more than2 months in advance and had confirmed vouchers. But money minded resort cancelled my booking at last minute and ruined my holidays. NEVER AGAIN AT SHEVAROYs

The hotel is like a haunted house. Not being used for long. At the time of check in they have upgraded to the room which I have actually booked. Amenities like lawn, library are not accessible. Rooms are shabby. No hand wash or tissue kept. Bathroom wall was not being painted after repair. WC has brown marks. Rooms walls are having dirty marks. Looks like someone spitted on the walls. Bedside lamps doesn’t work. Coffee kettle and mugs were not available. Provided on request. Damp smell/mark In the room. Bed sheet and blankets are brown, no sure it’s dirty or the colour itself brown. Blanket has burnt mark. Balcony door makes horrific noise. They provide Only idly, dosa and Pongal in the name of multicuisine breakfast. Having an unexplainable bad stay here.

We booked a room just a day before our travel and we didn't have any preference for room. Our priority was room that's all. So in hurry we got rose room. They have rooms with different names like Bougainvilla, orchid, rose etc. I believe rose rooms are the most basic rooms. Anyway, the room has a very small balcony. It felt like a smoking area. The bathroom looked pretty old and low maintenance. The room was very cold specially at night. They had given the blanket but still room was very cold. Food was good. Their room service was also good. The hotel has a very big campus and play area as well. Our child enjoyed a lot.

Best place during the meeting that was at the May end. Great environment and a pleasant room stay keeps one person's money worth. I would give 4 stars out of 5 for the services and the ground staff support. The catering services are at the top notch especially the south indian food varieties are superb. The staying rooms are well ventilated and we love to be here with the friends every summer. Our meeting went very well with the colleagues ***** with the flowershow, loved the climate. The small hotel malar also provides good quality of food at a reasonable cost. The only disadvantage is the Spa that is at the front of the hotel. My husband took the massage ***** with his friend. Unclean area and sticky floors, particularly one massage therapist from Coimbatore is completely money minded and what she does is not a professional massage, she has involved in immoral activities and was insisting to take tips for her extra personal services ofcourse it's a flesh trade, meanwhile my friend had a decent experience with the other staff from Chennai who does the massage in a professional ***ner which was convincing, hope the ***agement takes a proper action. If this is corrected in the nearby future then for sure Hotel Shevaroys will place a benchmark once again, when compared with other hotels and restaurants. A must stay hotel for the summer thanks to the respectful staffs and ***agement. Thanks and regards Reena warrior

Had a pleasant stay, we booked a room on 2nd week of January everything was fine Neat, clean, good and talented staff Peaceful atmosphere I loved this hotel very much I am sure I will this book next and thank you
